The Unofficial Guide to School

The school holidays are over, everyone's going back, so there's only one thing for it: we're going back to school too.

Not literally, obviously.

Alright Fans and Crazy Ginger Cabbie dig through their school memories for another Unofficial Guide, remembering the teachers, dinners, detentions, playgrounds, PE lessons, school discos, dodgy uniforms, embarrassing moments and unwritten rules of being a kid at school.

Who was the hardest kid in the year? Which teachers still live rent-free in your head? Why did getting picked for a football team matter so much? And why can you remember something humiliating that happened in Year 9 but not where you put your keys yesterday?

This isn't a World Cup. There are no groups and no knockouts. Just stories, memories, arguments and two very different recollections of what school was actually like.

You're listening to the free version of The Unofficial Guide to School.
