Licensed mental health counselor and breathwork facilitator, Patty Nagle, explores the practice of “allowing”—slowing down, releasing the need to constantly effort, and creating space for new possibilities. Patty discusses expanded states of consciousness through psychedelics, breathwork, and nature, and explains how these experiences can interrupt deeply ingrained patterns and open the door to change. Alongside co-host Sue Marriott, the two share the importance of preparation, safety, discernment, and integration, and why the real work often begins after the experience.

About our Guest – Patty Nagle, LMHC

Patty Nagle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and certified Grof® Breathwork facilitator who supports individuals navigating the complex, beautiful, and often bewildering territory of healing and transformation. She specializes in helping people prepare for and integrate expanded states of consciousness—including psychedelic experiences—offering grounded, heart-centered guidance for those walking the path of inner exploration. Patty’s approach is rooted in transpersonal and Jungian psychology, deep listening, and a healthy respect for the fact that the healing process rarely follows a straight line. Before becoming a therapist, she spent many years in nonprofit management. That experience continues to inform her therapeutic approach, which is grounded, practical, and attuned to both personal and collective well-being. Today, Patty combines professional expertise with intuitive presence, creating spaces where clients feel safe to unravel, release, and rediscover themselves. Her work is grounded in respect for the wisdom of the psyche and a deep trust in the human capacity for healing when given the space and support to unfold naturally. Whether working with individuals or facilitating groups, her presence invites trust, curiosity, and surrender to the wisdom within. She is also the creator and facilitator of The Great Allowing: A Collective Exploration, an ongoing series of online group explorations of various topics that invite participants to soften the habit of striving, reconnect with the wisdom of the body and psyche, and cultivate a more trusting relationship with life. She lives in a small village just north of Santa Fe, New Mexico, where the high desert landscape offers both inspiration and solace. Surrounded by nature and accompanied by her two beloved dogs, Patty finds renewal in the simplicity of daily life and the beauty of the natural world. Her work is informed by a lifelong curiosity about the human experience and a devotion to the quiet wisdom that arises when we learn to try less and trust more.
