I Was a Navy Seal - Then I Survived 30+ Years In Prison | Dusty Turner

Dusty Turner was granted parole in January 2026 after spending more than 30 years behind bars for a murder he has always maintained he did not commit. Growing up in a military family, Dusty achieved his dream of becoming a Navy SEAL at just 19 years old and joined SEAL Team 4 in Virginia. But in 1995, one night in Virginia Beach changed the course of his life forever, setting off a chain of events that would take him from one of the most elite military units in the world to an 82-year sentence in Virginia state prison. More than three decades later, Dusty is finally out and telling the complete story of what happened that night, the decisions that followed, the evidence that emerged years later, his fight for freedom, and what it feels like to rebuild his life after losing more than 30 years behind bars.
