Bigfoot In Broad Daylight

Brian welcomes Linda from California and longtime Bigfoot researcher David Raygoza for a firsthand encounter and the investigation that followed.Linda shares how the Patterson-Gimlin film first sparked her interest in Bigfoot before strange experiences in the forests around Shasta and the Trinity Alps made the subject much more personal.

Then, on June 28 near the Shaver Lake area, she saw something she couldn't explain.Standing roughly 50 yards away in a meadow near power lines was an enormous, long-haired figure she estimated at 8 to 10 feet tall. Broad, muscular, and completely motionless, the creature remained in full daylight long enough for Linda to get a clear look.

When Linda later returned to the area, she connected with researcher David Raygoza. A former science teacher and high school principal with more than 25 years of Bigfoot research experience, including work with the BFRO, David investigated the site and discovered several barefoot tracks measuring approximately 12 to 15 inches long, some showing only four toes.

David also shares several of his own encounters from decades in the field, including a remarkable 15-minute observation, an encounter with a massive individual he describes as an “old man,” a younger Sasquatch filmed near an apple, and a small juvenile.

He also recounts a strange investigation near Henry Cowell State Park involving a movie director, unexplained nighttime activity, and mysterious footprints.

For Linda, the experience wasn't terrifying. It left her even more curious—and more willing to trust the inner voice that sometimes tells her when it's time to leave the woods.
