The Big Bad Broadcast EP 248 -- One Hit Wonders

In this episode of the Big Bad Broadcast, we dive into a variety of entertaining and often absurd topics, starting with a wild story about a couple who climbed the Empire State Building for a marriage proposal. We discuss the lengths people go to for grand gestures and how it often sets unrealistic expectations for others.

As we transition into parenting, we share our experiences with our children, touching on the joys and challenges of raising kids, including the differences in wanting boys versus girls. We also reminisce about our own childhoods and the unique quirks of our families.

The conversation takes a humorous turn as we explore bizarre news stories, including a Florida woman who attempted to smuggle cocaine into jail in a rather unconventional way. This leads us to discuss the ridiculousness of some criminal behaviors and the often absurd nature of the justice system.

We then shift gears to talk about one-hit wonders in music, reminiscing about iconic songs and artists that defined our youth. From "Achy Breaky Heart" to "Mambo No. 5," we reflect on the fleeting nature of fame and the bittersweet reality of being a one-hit wonder.

Throughout the episode, we maintain our signature banter, sharing laughs and insights as we navigate these eclectic topics. Join us for a fun and engaging discussion that highlights the quirks of life, love, and the pursuit of happiness! Hey! We had some fun... Gotta run.
