Drawing on the mythology of Demeter and the harvest, we'll look at Virgo as a time of gathering, sorting, and preparing. I will give you a somatic experience of what it feels like to take stock of what will sustain you through the darker months ahead, what to preserve, and what to leave behind.

In this episode, we explore:

- Virgo, Demeter, and the wisdom of the harvest

- The transition from Virgo into Libra and the movement from tending ourselves toward relationship and exchange

- Why grounding and nourishment are especially important during seasonal thresholds

- The Green Man and our reciprocal relationship with the living earth

- Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus), Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), and Schisandra berry (Schisandra chinensis) as herbal allies for nourishment, resilience, and building our reserves

- Simple grounding practices like nourishing foods, walking barefoot on the earth, sitting in silence, and slowing down

- Moving beyond scarcity and discovering how tending our own roots gives us more to share with others

- Making space for the grief and uncertainty that accompany seasonal change while remembering that loss is always part of a larger cycle of renewal
