Then JV dives into the absolute shootout between Chicago and Carolina, where Caleb Williams accounted for four total touchdowns as the Bears dropped 59 points behind an explosive Ben Johnson offense featuring huge performances from D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai. Bryce Young answered with 360 passing yards and four total touchdowns of his own while continuing to show major development alongside an impressive Jalen Coker, but Carolina simply couldn’t overcome a disastrous defensive performance. In Baltimore, Lamar Jackson immediately reminded everyone why he remains one of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks, combining for 364 total yards and two touchdowns as the Ravens dominated Indianapolis 41-23. Derrick Henry added 144 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Declan Doyle’s offense and Jesse Minter’s revamped defense helped Baltimore look like a legitimate Super Bowl contender from the opening week. JV then breaks down Philadelphia’s 24-22 divisional win over Washington, where Jalen Hurts delivered three passing touchdowns and flashed improved mobility and elite deep-ball accuracy, but major concerns remain surrounding the Eagles’ offensive line and their ability to consistently sustain drives. Finally, JV reacts to the Giants’ statement 28-20 primetime victory over Dallas, as John Harbaugh immediately brought a completely different level of energy to New York.
