Mica Miller reported surveillance, tracking, and harassment to police in the months before her death at a North Carolina state park on April 27, 2024. Her death was ruled a suicide. Her estranged husband, Myrtle Beach pastor JP Miller, now faces federal cyberstalking charges. He has pleaded not guilty. The holdout admitted he had reasonable doubt and refused to vote for acquittal. Jurors describe severe trauma from the evidence and frustration with one member's refusal to engage.

The family of Celeste Rivas Hernandez filed a wrongful death lawsuit against D4vd that names his mother, his management team, and his business entities as defendants. The complaint alleges a system of enablement that kept a minor concealed. David Burke's celebrity attorneys withdrew from the criminal case. He has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other charges.
