Mica Miller's Case Isn't Waiting — The FBI Is Building While JP Miller Stalls

John-Paul Miller's defense attorneys have asked for and received multiple continuances since he pleaded not guilty in January 2026 to federal charges of cyberstalking and making false statements. The trial is set for the October 2026 term. But a federal investigation doesn't pause because the courtroom does. Miller was indicted in December 2025. Prosecutors allege a campaign of harassment against his estranged wife Mica from November 2022 until her death in April 2024. GPS trackers. More than 50 calls in a single day. Intimate images posted without consent. Financial interference. Damaged tires. Mica was found dead at Lumber River State Park in Robeson County, North Carolina. Her death was ruled a suicide. Miller admitted to investigators that he hired a private investigator — telling them it was to prevent Mica from purchasing firearms. Prosecutors allege the true purpose was surveillance of his wife. He was released on $100,000 bond with electronic monitoring. Solid Rock Church is closed. The Netflix documentary Death of the Pastor's Wife hit the platform in August 2026 and put the allegations in front of millions.
