Caleb Flynn Was Waiting for Ashley to Fall Asleep to Do THIS

There's a message in the Caleb Flynn trial where he tells Alleigha Botner what he'll do once Ashley is asleep, and she answers "Perfect." It's from September 2, 2025. Ashley Flynn was shot in her sleep on February 16, 2026. That exchange is the spine of this Hidden Killers panel, all three parts in one.

Robin Dreeke, retired FBI behavioral analyst, and Jennifer Coffindaffer, 25-year FBI special agent, and nine clips from Botner's two days of direct and her cross. His side: the June 12 "hire someone" message and "I've never joked about it"; July 4's "please take her out" and "not even for a second"; August 22's "thinking of ways to kill her and not go to jail." Her side: the July 10 message she had to claim on the stand, the September 2 phone plan, and "I'm not asking that you take her life, obviously," followed by "time is ticking." The cross: her Google searches after the murder, "I don't think he could ever be capable," and the admission that she went to Ashley's parents' house that morning so she wouldn't "look suspicious," while police never searched, swabbed, printed, or charged her.

Prosecutors say Caleb shot his wife twice in the head and staged a break-in. His lawyers say an intruder did it and the state is trying an affair. The panel's verdict on the two of them is the episode.
