Biography Flash: 50 Cent Battles Verizon Mocks Ross and Reacts to Diddy News

50 Cent Biography Flash a weekly Biography. As of October 3, 2026, 50 Cent’s biggest new headline is a business fight involving STARZ, the television network carrying the Power universe he helps produce. After STARZ programming disappeared from Verizon Fios during a failed carriage renewal, 50 Cent used Instagram to urge viewers in New York and New Jersey to switch providers, accusing Verizon chief executive Dan Schulman of dismissing STARZ and its audience. TMZ, The Grio, and Yahoo Entertainment report that Verizon customers lost STARZ channels, on demand programming, and app access, with no announced date for the network’s return. The dispute matters beyond online drama because it directly affects one of 50 Cent’s most durable business assets, his G Unit Film and Television relationship with STARZ. His post also promoted the October 16 release of Street Fighter. His social media activity was equally combative elsewhere. On October 1, longtime rival Rick Ross surrendered in Miami Beach on allegations including felony battery by strangulation and misdemeanor battery. Ross pleaded not guilty, posted bond, and has said he is innocent. According to iHeartRadio, Complex, and Rolling Out, 50 Cent quickly mocked the arrest on Instagram, posting the word arrested with a laughing emoji, demanding body camera footage, and ridiculing a judge who said she did not know who Rick Ross was. These are verified posts and reported reactions, but the underlying allegations against Ross remain unresolved court matters, not established facts. 50 Cent also commented on reports that Sean Diddy Combs had been returned to solitary confinement amid claims about special treatment in prison. Complex reports that 50 Cent wrote, quote, whatever they say he did, he did that, while the Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to confirm or discuss any individual inmate’s conditions. The confinement report therefore remains unconfirmed by prison officials. Looking ahead, the Hartford Courant reports that 50 Cent is scheduled to appear at Mohegan Sun’s thirtieth birthday celebration in Connecticut on October 10. The casino announced the booking, but this is a planned appearance, not an event that has happened yet. Thank you for listening.
