Gypsy Rose Blamed WHAT Before Ken Urker’s Cause Was Known?!

Ken Urker was found dead in his Raceland, Louisiana home on October 1, 2026, the day he turned 34. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office opened a death investigation, and the coroner was still completing the autopsy the following day. No official cause of death had been released.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard nevertheless gave her own early explanation. She told PEOPLE she believed Urker overdosed and told TMZ that an unidentified substance had been found at the scene. Blanchard said she did not know whether any overdose was intentional or accidental. Police records later described syringes and a spoon with a brown powdery substance, while investigators said they had found no evidence of foul play at that stage.

Blanchard also tied Urker’s emotional decline to years of online harassment. By October 4, she was publicly promoting a petition for “Kenan’s Law,” which she says is aimed at changing how social-media companies respond to repeated reports of harassment. That campaign began before the public had an autopsy result explaining why Urker died.

The speed matters because this was not a casual relationship built in public after Blanchard’s release. Urker first wrote to her in 2017 after seeing a documentary about her case. They became engaged in 2018, split in 2019, and later reconnected after her prison release and separation from Ryan Anderson. Matching tattoos followed in April 2024. Their daughter Aurora was born on December 28, 2024.
