Welcome back to Bedtime Talks with Zhan! In this episode, I’m sharing a little life update and opening up about my personal struggles with feeling God’s presence and questioning whether He truly cares for me in the seasons when life feels uncertain. Together, we’re diving into the biblical story of Hagar and discovering the beautiful meaning behind the name of God, El Roi, “The God Who Sees Me.” Through Hagar’s story, we’re reminded that God sees us in our wilderness, in our pain, and in the places where we may feel forgotten or overlooked. He sees our past, is present with us today, and already knows what lies ahead in our future. Little Angels, I hope this conversation reminds you that the Creator of the universe has not lost sight of you.

Even when you struggle to recognize His presence, His eyes are still on you. Your tears are not hidden from Him, your circumstances have not escaped Him, and your future is not a mystery to Him. You are seen. You are remembered. You are not forgotten. And even when you cannot feel God near you, that does not mean He has abandoned you.

My prayer is that this episode brings peace to your heart, strengthens your faith, and reminds you that the God who sees Hagar in the wilderness is the same God who sees you right where you are today. So get comfortable, take a deep breath, and let’s talk about the God who sees us. 🤍
