Ben Wang, Bobby Drake, and Please Be Cool

In This Episode

Ben Wang is in talks to play Bobby Drake, aka Iceman, in X-Men. Peter Claffey is reported as Beast, and neither casting is confirmed.

Frank runs through Wang's recent work, from The Long Walk and Karate Kid: Legends to The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, which opens on the 20th. He calls Wang's acting solid, with nothing outstanding so far, then challenges the internet to stay cool about Wang not looking like Bobby in the comics. He congratulates Wang on the hustle if the role lands and closes on the unconfirmed status of both castings.
