From Four Babies to Two: Managing pregnancy reduction and a city career

From Four Babies to Two: Managing pregnancy reduction and a city career

TRIGGER WARNING: This episode deals with discussions of in/fertility and/or baby loss.
--
Having resigned herself in her teens that polycystic ovaries meant it might be difficult to get pregnant, this week’s guest was delighted when fertility treatment led to happy news.
But it wasn’t just one baby that Suzanne Tager was carrying, but four!
The risks associated with having quads led to some tough realisations and agonising decisions for Suzanne and her husband, ultimately leading to her giving birth to healthy twins.
All of this was against the backdrop of a familiar story of a professional woman trying to juggle career with her fertility journey. And this was at a time when it was even harder to have open workplace discussions about fertility challenges than it is now.
