How can I get people out of their heads and into their hearts?
How can I get people out of their head and into their heart? Many are still confused at why a child wouldn’t say something at the time. Or why they never showed us any signs. I think people are forgetting what it used to be like, to be a child, and the puzzle I’m trying to solve is, how can I change that? I’m developing a few ideas and I’ve revealed them on this to see what you think. My aim is to get people saying ‘ahh now I understand it’.Below are my linksWebsite: https://jeremyindika.comPodcast: https://shows.acast.com/the-something-to-say-podcastSomething to Say: https://somethingtosayofficial.comTo supportMerchandise: https://somethingtosayofficial.comPatreon: https://www.patreon.com/SomethingtoSayDonate: https://jeremyindika.com/donate/Social mediaInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/jeremyindika/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jeremyindika1Twitter: https://twitter.com/jeremyindikaTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jeremyindikaLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeremy-indika-31673573/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@JeremyIndikaPodcast: https://shows.acast.com/the-something-to-say-podcastSomething to Say linksInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/somethingtosayofficial/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/somethingtosayofficial1LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/something-to-say1Twitter: https://twitter.com/sts_official_1TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@somethingtosayofficialYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@SomethingtoSayofficialPodcast: https://shows.acast.com/the-something-to-say-podcast-1 Hosted on Acast. Should a therapist speak to paedophiles? | I didn't say anything about a cure
You may think I’m crazy for doing this after what happened on Instagram with this question last week, but after the comments section got heated with people attacking each other, I decided that I want to give my thoughts. Because I want everybody to remember, we are all on the same team here and to be fighting amongst ourselves is the least productive way forward. And also, nothing ever got solved without a conversation to exchange ideas first. So let’s do that. Who's protecting children when they're online | What are we going to do about this?
Can you guess what the three situations below have in common?1. On a tablet watching YouTube2. Playing the Xbox on live3. In a WhatsApp groupThe answer is…we are not there. So, if something pops up, like a message from someone suggesting something sexual, or a link that’s about something they like, but when you click, it goes to something else - maybe for something sexual - we are not there to intervene. And with thes online, being part of our culturespace being, we need to move with the times and figure out the best ways to handle this. That’s why I’ve brought Richard Pomfrett onto my podcast, who speaks to parents, teenagers and children on this topic and has valuable advice to give us.Richard Pomfrett informationSince 2013 Richard’s passion for his work as pushed him to continually evolve and shape ‘Stay Safe! Workshops’ to fit the needs of young people today. It is through these specialised and unique sessions, that they aim to educate as many young people as possible. Raising awareness and passing on vital skills and knowledge at key stages in their development and helping prevent them from becoming part of the future dire statistics. To find Richard PomfrettWebsite: https://thestaysafeinitiative.org.ukTwitter: https://twitter.com/StaySafeCICInstagram : https://www.instagram.com/thestaysafeinitiative/Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/thestaysafeinitiative/LinkedIn : https://www.linkedin.com/in/richard-pomfrett-230b63189/My linksWebsite: https://jeremyindika.comPodcast: https://shows.acast.com/the-something-to-say-podcastSomething to Say: https://somethingtosayofficial.comTo supportMerchandise: https://somethingtosayofficial.comPatreon: https://www.patreon.com/SomethingtoSayDonate: https://jeremyindika.com/donate/Social mediaInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/jeremyindika/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jeremyindika1Twitter: https://twitter.com/jeremyindikaTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jeremyindikaLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeremy-indika-31673573/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@JeremyIndikaPodcast: https://shows.acast.com/the-something-to-say-podcastSomething to Say linksInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/somethingtosayofficial/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/somethingtosayofficial1LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/something-to-say1Twitter: https://twitter.com/sts_official_1TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@somethingtosayofficialYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@SomethingtoSayofficialPodcast: https://shows.acast.com/the-something-to-say-podcast-1 Hosted on Acast. Daughter takes own life after sexual abuse | Mother explains what happened
The pain this mother feels must be excruciating. But to see her explain what happened so bravely, so that we can understand what to look out for in our own families is a gift, given to us by her. How can we reach these men before they commit the crime? | An interesting interview
Before anyone says anything about guns, this discussion is about getting to these men before they commit any crime. Shooting them can only happen once the crime has been committed and by then we’re too late. I’ve interviewed an organisation on my podcast who work on the internet to encourage these men to come forward to work with them and I think we can all agree, if one child is saved using their methods then that is job done. They are seeing great results.Christoffer Rahm’s Research Group is at the forefront of efforts to prevent violence, with a specific focus on addressing sexual violence against children. Specializing in clinical research, the group is dedicated to improving our understanding of pedophilia and developing evidence-based treatments. Their research seeks to establish effective, safe, tolerable, and scalable interventions both online and offline for individuals at risk of committing child sexual abuse.Prevent It: https://www.iterapi.se/sites/preventit/Project Bridge: https://www.iterapi.se/sites/bridge/My links Website: https://jeremyindika.comPodcast: https://shows.acast.com/the-something-to-say-podcastSomething to Say: https://somethingtosayofficial.comTo supportMerchandise: https://somethingtosayofficial.comPatreon: https://www.patreon.com/SomethingtoSayDonate: https://jeremyindika.com/donate/Social mediaInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/jeremyindika/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jeremyindika1Twitter: https://twitter.com/jeremyindikaTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jeremyindikaLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeremy-indika-31673573/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@JeremyIndikaPodcast: https://shows.acast.com/the-something-to-say-podcastSomething to Say linksInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/somethingtosayofficial/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/somethingtosayofficial1LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/something-to-say1Twitter: https://twitter.com/sts_official_1TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@somethingtosayofficialYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@SomethingtoSayofficialPodcast: https://shows.acast.com/the-something-to-say-podcast-1 Hosted on Acast. Surviving sexual abuse from own brothers | An inspirational story for not letting life pull you down
INSPIRATION!!! I know my podcasts are usually tough to get through, but this one’s different. Marisol speaks about how she will no longer be held hostage to the sexual abuse from her brothers and she will now let go of the family that told her to keep it quiet. She is a source of inspiration and I feel honoured to review her story on my latest podcast. If you would like to watch this on YouTube - https://youtu.be/36XJ8akXdFM?si=xhzUH8tMI_JTjdp5Please support Soft White Underbelly YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@SoftWhiteUnderbelly.
