Case 18 UT's Great Salt Lake Whale Experiment / Northshore Monster

In Americas “Dead Sea” an experiment that was documented by the University of Utahs biology department occurred. In 1875 Ocean Leviathans were hauled by boats then by a 1 of a kind Train to be rehomed in the Great Salt Lake in hope of populating it with WHALES! Now this urban legend has been disputed for over a century & most facts of the Salt Lake would tell us this should be impossible. But locals then began spotting Lake Monsters! The Northshore monster, the ancient Great Brine shrimp, Old Briney & even the more well known Bear Lake Monster all find their origins to potentially this News Article from 1890!
