The Mysterious Alien Abduction Of A 8 Year Old Boy Near Sweden In 1922

The Mysterious Alien Abduction Of A 8 Year Old Boy Near Sweden In 1922

In 1922, an 8-year-old Swedish boy decided to play with a classmate after school and then walked home past a peat bog and a forest. Suddenly, he became an eyewitness to a very strange event, which he decided to tell reporters only dozens of years later.

Outside Sweden, this story is practically unknown, while it is very interesting for everyone who is fond of ufology.

It happened a very long time ago, in 1922. It was an ordinary spring day. 8-year-old boy Osten Engstrom lived with his parents in the small village of Orsta, southwest of the Swedish city of Kolsva.

Since it was already quite warm and the snow had almost melted, after school Osten, together with his classmate friend Holger, decided to play in the yard near Holger’s house. After that, Austen went home.

He had to walk about 3 km to the house, it was a rural area, where the fields intersected with the forest. Osten was too lazy to go home and decided to take another walk in the nearest forest. He walked past the peat bog and just wanted to enter the forest when something that remained a mystery to him forever happened.

Suddenly, different animals began to run out of the forest: deer, hares, moose, squirrels, badgers, and others. There were a lot of them and they fled on purpose as if someone was following them. They ran towards the peat bog when the sky suddenly darkened strongly and then a strange light appeared above.

“I looked up and saw three gray objects hovering silently above me. They were so close to me that I could easily throw a stone at them. The objects pulsed as if they were breathing, and I saw two dark lines on them. , above the forest, two more objects floated. They were larger and darker than those that were above me. “

More Austen did not have time to see anything, as he lost consciousness or was deliberately “knocked out”. When he woke up, he was lying on the road near the forest on the ground and the time was already evening and much colder than during the day, the boy felt that he was very cold.

Osten felt strange, as if he had worked for a long time and was very tired. It was very difficult for him to get home, and on the way he noticed that it was already 19:30 on the clock, that is, about 4 hours had passed since he saw the animals running out and flying objects.

Somehow Osten made his way to the house, where he had to tell his worried mother where he had disappeared. And no one believed him, because, as it turned out, they had been looking for him for several hours.

Back at 15:30, Osten’s older brother, Gustav, rode a bicycle to school, where he was told that Osten had gone for a walk to Holger’s house. After that, Gustav drove to Holger’s house, where he was told that Osten had gone to his home. Then Gustav drove along the road on which everyone usually walks, including he drove past that very peat bog and forest, but he did not see anything strange there.

Considering that the time was still bright, there was no chance that Gustav could somehow fail to notice Osten lying on the road, unless, of course, the boy was lying there, and not somewhere else.

What happened to the boy? Where was he these four hours? Now ufologists will boldly say that the child was cornily abducted by aliens, but in those years no one believed Austen, he was considered a liar who was just playing somewhere in the forest and did not notice that it was too late.

Only very many years later, in the 90s, when the topic of UFOs and aliens appeared regularly in the newspapers, the aged Austen Engstrom decided to tell his story to journalists. An article about her was published on June 15, 1996 in the Swedish newspaper “Expressen”.

Here are some of Osten’s responses from that interview:

“Where was I at those hours? I estimate it was about four and a half hours. I didn’t get home until half past seven or seven in the evening. I was almost whipped because they thought I was lying. They sent me to bed. and then I felt so bad that I stayed in bed for 4 days. Perhaps I caught a cold while lying on the cold road. “

“It looked like all three objects pulsed at the same time. Just like the organs of an octopus work. They absorb water and move by blowing it out. It looks like the objects were using the same technique. They moved very elegantly, changed direction and seemed to control this pulsation.”

Israel Keyes is the most terrifying serial killer you’ve probably never heard of - Serial Killer DocumentaryIsrael Keyes is all of your worst fears personified into one of the most terrifying serial killers of the 21st century.February 1, 2012, began like any other day at work for 18-year-old Samantha Koenig, but it ended in unspeakable tragedy.Finishing up her shift at the Common Grounds coffee stand in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, the young barista was approached by a man wearing a ski mask who ordered coffee – a man who would later be named as Israel Keyes. After Samantha handed him the order, Keyes pulled out a gun and demanded money, and the terrified teen quickly complied.Forcing himself inside the stand, Keyes tied the young woman’s hands together with zip ties before forcing her into his white Ford Focus, where she tried – and failed – to escape the abductor, who held a gun to her head and said he would kill her if she tried again.Driving around town with Samantha still bound in the vehicle, Keyes explained to the terrified teen that this was simply a kidnapping for ransom and that if she cooperated, she’d be returned to her family unharmed.Keyes kept Samantha alive for several hours and even drove back to her coffee stand to retrieve her mobile phone. He then used it to send a fake text message to her boyfriend, who was due to pick her up after her shift. The text read: “Hey, I’m spending a couple of days with friends, let me dad know.”Keyes took Samantha to his property, where he tied her up in a shed. He turned his radio up so no one could hear her screams and pleas for help. After demanding Samantha’s address, Keyes made his way to retrieve her ATM card from her boyfriend’s truck. In a gut-wrenching twist, while stealing the debit card, Keyes was confronted by Samantha’s boyfriend – who was already on edge after discovering Koenig was not at work when he arrived to pick her up as well as having received the strange text message from her phone earlier, which had, in fact, been sent by Keyes.Thinking he was a random burglar attempting to break into his car, Samantha’s boyfriend ran inside to get help, while Keyes fled.Returning to his property, Keyes poured himself a glass of wine as he returned to his shed and raped a sobbing Samantha. He then strangled her to death.Keyes returned inside, packed for a pre-planned cruise in New Orleans, woke his daughter for school, and left for the airport.Returning to Anchorage on February 17, 2012, Keyes began preparing a ransom note, but first, he decided to remove Samantha’s body from the cupboard. He applied makeup to Samantha’s face – frozen and lifeless – before unsettlingly sewing her eyes open with fishing line to give her the appearance of being alive. He then took a Polaroid of her “holding” up that day’s newspaper.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/darkest-mysteries-online-the-strange-and-unusual-podcast-2024--5684156/support.

The Sleep Walker Murderer | Randy Herman Jr Interrogation

The Sleep Walker Murderer | Randy Herman Jr Interrogation

The Sleep Walker Murderer | Randy Herman Jr InterrogationRandy Herman was convicted of first-degree murder for the brutal stabbing death of his childhood friend, Brooke Preston, who he claimed he killed while sleepwalking. It was a case with an unusual defense and one that ultimately the jury didn’t buy.The defense team for Randy Herman Jr. tried to argue during his murder trial that he was sleepwalking when he brutally stabbed his roommate and childhood friend 21-year-old Brooke Preston to death inside their Florida home in 2017.He had a long history of sleepwalking which dated back to childhood. Herman, who had a habit of self-medicating with alcohol and had previously been convicted of two DUIs, had been on a drinking binge in the days before the stabbing, the Miami New Times reported in 2019. He estimated that he drank around 30 beers during one of the last days he spent with Preston, who was gearing up to leave and move in with her boyfriend. That and his frequent lack of decent sleep were brought up as contributing factors that the defense said caused him to sleepwalk.During his trial, Herman pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, with sleepwalking being the psychological affliction. His defense called Dr. Charles Patrick Ewing, a forensic psychologist, to the stand who testified that it usually takes some time to fall into a deep sleep, the kind of sleep that sleepwalking is believed to occur during. However, he also testified that it’s possible for someone to fall into a deep sleep immediately, especially when drinking and sleep deprivation are involved. Herman had claimed that he had spoken to Preston just minutes before killing her. He testified that he remembers waking up in his bed to Preston coming into his room to talk about a shirt he was giving her. Just minutes later, he remembered stabbing Preston to death but believed he was dreaming, according to him. The new Hulu documentary “Dead Asleep” notes the theory that the memory of him being awake just minutes before the slaying could have been a dream or an imagined memory. Still, it was that specific memory that jurors pointed to as the reason for why they ultimately convicted Herman in 2019. “The way that the jurors explained it to me was when they put the timeline together they felt that he couldn’t have returned back to a deep sleep,” “Dead Asleep” director Skye Borgman said in an interview earlier this month. “Circumstances including prior behavior, alcohol use, his sleep patterns, I think he [Ewing] said it’s possible that he could have [been sleepwalking and in a deep sleep] but also possible that he could not have returned back to sleep.”She said that ultimately jurors determined that the timeline the way that they saw it, if he didn’t imagine that interaction with Brooke, then he would not have been able to have returned to a deep sleep state. The timeline was such a big motivating factor for them in seeing how this sequence of events played out,” she said. “They felt more convinced that he wasn’t sleepwalking at the time.”Heman, now 28, was sentenced to life behind bars. Last month, Herman filed a motion to try to get his conviction vacated. He wants a new trial and argues that his defense was wrong to claim that sleepwalking was a mental illness, the Palm Beach Post reported.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/darkest-mysteries-online-the-strange-and-unusual-podcast-2024--5684156/support.

Glen McCurley 1974 Cold-Case Murder of 17-Year Old Carla Walker Full Police Interrogation

Glen McCurley 1974 Cold-Case Murder of 17-Year Old Carla Walker Full Police Interrogation

Glen McCurley 1974 Cold-Case Murder of 17-Year Old Carla Walker Full Police InterrogationMCurley was a person of interest in the 1974 slaying but detectives said there wasn't enough evidence to tie him to the case 46 years ago.Texas company used a new forensic process to create a full DNA profile of the suspect from evidence pulled off the victim's clothing -- only partial profiles were obtained before.A Tarrant County Grand Jury has indicted a 77-year-old man in connection with a cold case that went unsolved for nearly half a century.Glen Samuel McCurley was indicted on a charge of capital murder for his role in the death of Carla Jan Walker, a 17-year-old Western Hills High School junior who was kidnapped and murdered in 1974.According to police, Walker was abducted, held captive, and sexually assaulted before being murdered and left in a ditch after a Valentine's Day dance.Investigators alleged that McCurley snatched Walker from the passenger seat of her boyfriend's car in a bowling alley parking lot.Walker's boyfriend, Rodney McCoy, told police that a man pointed a gun at him and threatened to kill him before something hit him in the head, knocking him unconscious.McCoy told police he later woke up to find Walker was gone and blood coming from his head.Walker's body was found three days later in a culvert near Benbrook Lake. Police said she had been beaten, raped, strangled, and tortured alive for two days after her disappearance.DNA evidence recovered from clothing and a bra worn by Walker on the night she was killed was sent to Othram, a private lab in The Woodlands. The DNA profile created at Othram was used to narrow the search to three brothers with the last name McCurley.According to police, Glen Samuel McCurley had been identified as a person of interest during the initial investigation in 1974 because he owned a gun, a .22 Ruger, that matched a magazine found at the crime scene.Detectives spoke to McCurley during the initial investigation, but they did not pursue McCurley again following the 1974 interview until the DNA profile match was found in GEDMATCH.Police collected trash from a bin in front of McCurley's residence in July of 2020, and they were able to determine that the items matched the male DNA profile found on Walker's clothing. On Sept. 10, 2020, police said they returned to McCurley's home and spoke to both him and his wife, during which time McCurley told the same story that he told detectives in 1974. He said he didn't kill anyone and did not know Carla Walker.McCurley agreed to provide a DNA sample, and six days later, police said they were notified the swabs matched the DNA found on Walker's bra.A warrant for capital murder was then obtained and McCurley was taken into custody without incident. Jail records showed McCurley was being held in the Tarrant County Jail on a charge of capital murder with bond set at $100,000.During a news conference, detectives with the Fort Worth Police Department said they believe the assault and murder were random and that Walker and McCurley didn't know each other.True Crime Podcast 2023 Police Interrogations, 911 Calls True Police Stories PodcastBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/darkest-mysteries-online-the-strange-and-unusual-podcast-2024--5684156/support.
