PeopleFirst in Private Equity: Alpine Investors’ Graham Weaver

In this episode, we speak with Graham Weaver, Founder and Managing Partner of Alpine Investors, a people-driven private equity firm that invests in software and services businesses.

Since its founding in 2001, Alpine has made almost 300 investments and has hired over 60 executives into its portfolio companies. The firm has embarked on eight funds since inception and currently has $8b in assets under management. It most recently closed Fund VIII in 2021 with over $2.25b in committed capital.

Alpine was recognized by GrowthCap as a Top 25 Private Equity Firm of 2022.

Graham founded Alpine based on the belief that exceptional people create exceptional businesses, a PeopleFirst philosophy that guides the firm’s choices today. When he’s not inspiring growth at Alpine, Graham teaches a top-rated strategic management course at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.

I am your host RJ Lumba. We hope you enjoy the show.
