96: How We Built a Highly Engaged Community in a Facebook Group Without Ever Using the @everyone Tag

In our free Facebook Group, The Social Media Managers Hub (linked in the show notes if you haven’t joined us yet!), you might have noticed that we steer well clear of that dreaded @everyone tag. We all hate unnecessary notifications, and so when we get one trying to drag us kicking and screaming to a group we aren’t interested in looking at currently, it really winds us up!

We know how to run Facebook Groups - we’ve got a free one and a paid one currently (also linked in the show notes!) and we’ve run a whole host of groups in the past, so we’re confident we know what we’re talking about when we say using the @everyone tag isn’t the way to go to build your group's engagement and foster a happy community.
