Mountain Murders presents one of North Carolina's most infamous murder cases. Jeffrey MacDonald was a Green Beret Army doctor convicted of killing his wife, Colette, and their two daughters in 1970.

Evading prosecution for nine years, MacDonald claimed a group of hippies resembling the Manson cult broke into the Ft Bragg apartment and murdered his family. But evidence suggested otherwise.
