Republicans Rally Around Trump, Dems Doubt Biden

As the Republican National Convention wraps up its final day, it's feeling like a grand old party in more ways than one. A jubilant mood is spreading throughout the RNC as a newly unified GOP rallies behind candidate Trump just after he survived an assassination attempt. It's very different within the Democratic party, where President Biden is facing growing pressure to drop out of the race as concerns around his age and health persist. Joining the program to discuss is former communications director for Trump’s 2020 campaign, Marc Lotter, and Karen Kinney, who was a senior advisor for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential bid. Also on today's show: musician Cyndi Lauper; University of Michigan Law School professor Leah Litman Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
