This episode of Dropped Culture After Dark we get into the album Above by Mad Season. This is a special podcast for us because we have been talking about doing this since we started doing these podcasts. Mad Season was a supergroup comprising of Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Layne Staley of Alice in Chains, Barrett Martin of Screaming Trees and John Baker Saunders. Above came out in 1995 and has had a lasting impact on our lives and countless others. Now you just have to listen... with all the badasses in this band how could you not love it like we do? Songs like "Artificial Red" "Lifeless Dead" or "Long Gone Day" are miles above whats out right now!
