The Avengers (2012) Remastered - Part One

Our Phase One Remastered project comes to a close as we head back to 2012 and re-examine The Avengers - Marvel’s first billion dollar hit! Rob and Will take you behind-the-scenes on the production of the movie to learn about how Marvel kept all the MCU characters co-ordinated, how the original version of the movie featured a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT VILLAIN, why Mark Ruffalo replaced Ed Norton as the Hulk, and how Thanos was only added at the very last minute! Plus we’ll go behind-the-page to learn about the history of the superhero team, how Marvel borrowed heavily from the Justice League, and how the creation of the Avengers was all due to a big mistake at Marvel!

Then we’ll deep-dive the movie to bring you our reactions to every scene, examine why this movie was such a success and what makes it so great, and we’ll bring you stories from the Marvel Comics like who tried to catch the Hulk in a net, what happens when Iron Man tries to fight Thor, what happened when the Black Widow tried to assassinate Nick Fury, who was missing from the original Avengers line-up, plus tons more Marvel history and trivia!
