Day 77: Deuteronomy 21-23

This is Day 77. Today we are reading Deuteronomy 21-23

Father God, again, we see your fairness and your faithfulness. You don't tolerate favoritism, but expect us to treat each other with respect. You established marriage and it is sacred, not to be entered into lightly, and not to be dissolved on a whim. You ask us to look out for each other, and not to turn away or try to avoid an opportunity to lend a helping hand. And you expect us to keep our word, just as your Word is forever settled in heaven. Your laws are just, because they are based in love and respect. Help us to love each other as you have loved us. Amen.
