Day 115: 1st Chronicles 3-5

Today on Meditating the Word, we review the descendants of David and Solomon, Judah, Simeon, Reuben, Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and we read the prayer of Jabez.

This is Day 115. Today we are reading 1st Chronicles Chapters 3-5

Father God, your Word tells us that we have not, because we ask not. The sons of Reuben, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh cried out to you in battle, and you heard them. They prevailed, because you fought for them. Jabez called on you, and your granted his request. Like Jabez, we ask that you bless us indeed and enlarge our borders. May your hand be with us, and may you keep us from even so that we don't cause pain. Thank you, Father, we know that you hear us always when we pray according to your will, which is your Word. Amen.
