On Wednesday, December 12th, 2007, 47-year-old Nancy and her 7-year-old Joey Bochicchio left the Boca Raton Town Center Mall after doing some Christmas shopping. Surveillance video showed the two girls leaving the mall, with everything appearing to be normal. However, several hours later, Nancy’s SUV was spotted in a back parking lot of the mall, still running, after the mall had closed. Inside, police found Nancy and Joey, bound and executed. The investigation that followed revealed that these two murders may not have been random at all, that they could’ve been another attack committed by a still-unknown serial killer. On February 17th, 1970, 26-year-old Jeffrey MacDonald called 911, saying that there’d been a stabbing at his home and people were dying. MacDonald, a Green Beret, lived on the Army base in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Military police responded quickly to the MacDonald house to find a horrific scene: 26-year-old Colette and the MacDonald’s two daughters, five-year-old Kimberley and two-year-old Kristen had been stabbed and bludgeoned to death. MacDonald, however, was still alive with only minor injuries. Part 2 of 2.  On the morning of August 9, 1969, a housekeeper arrived at her job to find a horrific scene. There were five dead bodies in the home on 10050 Cielo Drive on Benedict Canyon in Beverly Hills. The victims were actress Sharon Tate and several of her friends, as well as a teenager who had been visiting the house’s caretaker. Scrawled on the front door in blood was one word: PIG. The following night, a wealthy couple was brutally massacred in their LA home. There were several more words written in blood on the walls of the couple’s home, most notably a phrase on the refrigerator that read “Helter Skelter”. This made seven brutal murders in less than 48 hours. It wasn’t long before investigators connected the two attacks, along with an earlier murder, tracing them all back to a cult-like group called the family. The family was led by a single individual, who exhibited control over all of them. The man was Charles Manson.
