Marvel Pursues Legal Action Against Reddit Leakers of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ Script

Marvel is pursuing legal action against the individual or group responsible for the Reddit leak of the script of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”. The leak included dialogue and key plot points from the film, and Marvel has submitted a DMCA subpoena application to Reddit and Google to reveal the leakers. The subreddit, r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers, which leaked key plot details for several MCU films before their theatrical release, shut down after the subpoena was issued. Marvel’s strict policy to keep scripts under wraps has been harder to maintain during the pandemic as more people have access to sensitive information from home. “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” has made $449.2 million so far at the worldwide box office, but it is on track for the worst gross of the Ant-Man trilogy, and has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences.
