The Friends Season: Work

For the second episode of The Friends Season, Addoley and Anna receive help from their cast of friends to give work-related advice. Kahlil and Anne Liis help unpack how to navigate bad terms around an exhibition, with or without burning bridges in the process. Kiyoshi and Lyndon give their thoughts on a question regarding whether to stay—or not—as a BIPOC worker in a predominantly white art institution, considering all the costs that may come with it. Kahlil and Kiyoshi give advice to a listener who wonders whether perhaps a lack of mingling could explain a lack of professional recognition. Erik and Espen wonder whether or not a listener actually should fight back against impostor syndrome or not.
