The World Health Organisation commissioned Chinese experts and 17 international experts to conduct an independent investigation of the origins of Covid-19. One of the experts was Australian. Two asylum seekers arrived from Sri Lanka on separate boats almost ten years ago. They fell in love and married, had two children and settled in the small QLD town of Biloela. Three years ago the Federal government decided they were not entitled to visas and deported them. The family appealed – and it’s been mired in the courts ever since.
