For most of us, the pandemic has put a lot of our lives on hold. We’re swimming in uncertainty, canceling plans awaiting some sort of normalcy to return.

For those that want to get married, they’re faced with the choice of delaying indefinitely or having a celebration that looks a lot different than what societal norms dictate or what they’d always dreamed of.

Getting loved ones together in a big group has been forbidden and a risk, but some people are choosing to continue their life plans.

My guest for Episode 13 of UNRESTRICTED Live, Marketing Strategist Kelsey Turman, and her fiance decided they didn’t want to wait, that they wanted to continue their life plans together. For them, that meant eloping. But instead of a remote, beautiful destination, they did it close to home.

That inevitably brought up some challenges for how they deal with family and friends, having to redesign what their celebration looked like, and how to do it within so many restrictions.

Join me and Kelsey as we talk about getting married during a pandemic, how they made the decision, planned for it and dealt with the uncomfortable conversations and restrictions, to pull off what was a beautiful, intimate celebration of their love.
