Greg Mitchell and the Memorial Day Massacre

Greg Mitchell and the Memorial Day Massacre

[Explicit Language] Author and filmmaker Greg Mitchell returns to the show to discuss his latest project called “Memorial Day Massacre: Workers Die, Film Buried” about a 1937 labor strike that ended when cops opened fire, murdering 10 of the demonstrators. It's a previously unknown chapter in American history and Greg's here to tell us all about it. The book is out now, and the documentary premieres online and on KCET in LA on May 6, followed by PBS stations across the country after that. Follow Greg's Substack here.
