STORYTIME - Naked Hiking - Part 2

I have always believed that one of the reasons I am still alive despite illnesses that were supposed to shorten my life, is because of my attitude and the way I look at the world. It is so easy in today's society to get all caught up in the day-to-day negative emotions that are a result of the ever-changing world and our discomfort and inability to change with it.  I found a few items on the internet that are in keeping with my philosophy and way-of-life. I wanted to share some of these with you today, and comment on how a few have affected my mindset and quest for life. The Podcast has moved to a new home! Effective with this episode is the launch of the next phase of An Older Gay Guy Show Podcast. I am hoping that the majority of you who are Subscribed to the show have had your Subscription moved over along with the episodes. But, there may be some of you who will need to re-subscribe to the show. I apologize if that is the case.  Additionally, I want to introduce you to the NEW Blog and Podcast/YouTube page that has been started to go along with the movement of the show: AnOlderGayGuyShow.com The above link is to the new home of the show. Well my friends, today I start my 10th Season of An Older Gay Guy Show! I have all kinds of plans for this season, highlighted as always by my Sweeps Period which will be for the month of August (after voting for the Podcast Awards during July). Today I start with an easy-breezy episode, which includes an edited part from one of my 'disappeared' episodes from a few years ago. This is actually what I consider a Part 2 of a video I did on An Older Gay Guy Show's YouTube channel that is titled 'Getting Over My Social Anxiety'. This podcast episode is a stand-alone show. It is not necessary to see the video prior to listening to this episode. I hope you enjoy it. I tried to have some humor in the content, but there is a serious message underlying it.

This is a previous show from 2018 that I have edited to put out this year again. Many of us (myself included) are striving to lose a few more pounds, even during the Holiday Season. This episode discusses subtle changes that you can make when planning and consuming your Thanksgiving Dinner that can help keep you on track, so you don't lose any of the hard work that you have put in during these last months. Please keep an open mind and give it a listen. Even choosing to do one or two things that I outline can make a big difference whether you won't gain any additional body fat, or if the Holiday goes completely off-the-rails.

So I had what I am referring to as a Fan Event, because this is probably the closest to an actual Meet-&-Greet that I will ever have. My husband Paco and I hosted two of my long-time fans for a day of hiking and dinner. Henry and Christopher join me for a relaxed (that means with wine) discussion about their thoughts of how they came to be together as a couple for 40 years. We laugh quite a bit and have fun. This wonderful visit came about because I have corresponded with these two listeners for quite some time. We were honored to host these two wonderful men. I hope you enjoy the show. There is an echo at times as we were in my new studio and I haven't put up sound-proofing yet.
