Ye’s Former Assistant Accuses Him of Drugging and Sexual Assault in Amended Lawsuit

Ye’s Former Assistant Accuses Him of Drugging and Sexual Assault in Amended Lawsuit

Kanye West, known in the music industry as Ye, is facing new allegations from his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who claims he drugged and sexually assaulted her. Pisciotta, who previously sued the rapper for sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and breach of contract, has filed an amended complaint in California, according to documents obtained by USA TODAY.

In the filing, Pisciotta accuses Ye of engaging in multiple instances of sexual misconduct, claiming that he "touched, groped, fondled, grabbed and forced himself in and on" her without her consent. She further asserts that these alleged incidents began even before her formal employment with Ye. Pisciotta recounts one such instance in which she says the rapper invited her to a studio session he co-hosted with Sean “Diddy” Combs. During this event, Pisciotta alleges that she was given a drink laced with an unknown drug, which left her “heavily impaired.” According to her complaint, she awoke the following day with no memory of what had happened. Initially, Pisciotta says she did not suspect anything inappropriate occurred until years later, when Ye referenced the night, mentioning that they “hooked up.” This conversation led her to conclude she had been drugged and assaulted by him that evening.

A representative for Ye, in a previous statement to *Rolling Stone*, refuted the allegations, describing Pisciotta’s claims as “blackmail and extortion.” The statement claimed she was “terminated for being unqualified, demanding unreasonable sums of money (including a $4 million annual salary),” and engaging in “lascivious, unhinged conduct.” Ye's legal team further accused Pisciotta of attempting to use “sexual coercion” to extract money and material items from him.

The amended complaint goes on to describe an alleged incident in July 2021 while Pisciotta was on a work trip with Ye. According to Pisciotta, Ye showed up at her hotel room, claiming he needed to use her shower because his was not working. Once inside, she alleges, he dropped his towel and attempted to force himself on her. She says he pushed her onto the bed and attempted to “forcefully thrust his naked body” onto her, despite her visible distress and repeated pleas for him to stop. The complaint states, “(Pisciotta) was very clearly unwilling, non-consenting and visually upset at Kanye West a.k.a Ye for the battery, gender violence and sexual assault.”

Throughout her time working for Ye, Pisciotta alleges that she endured “constant” sexual harassment, noting that she had expressed her lack of interest in a relationship with him. The complaint claims she received numerous sexually explicit text messages from the rapper, which she has provided as evidence. Pisciotta states that this continued harassment, combined with the alleged assault, left her suffering from “severe anxiety, depression, and overwhelming PTSD.” According to her, Ye eventually fired her in 2022 as retaliation for her complaints and refusal to engage in sexual activities with him.

This lawsuit represents one of several legal challenges Ye currently faces. Just last week, a former employee, identified as “John Doe,” filed a lawsuit against the rapper, alleging infliction of emotional distress, labor code violations, and retaliation. Doe claims that Ye asked him to investigate his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and hired private investigators to monitor his current spouse, Bianca Censori. The lawsuit further alleges that Ye threatened to kill Doe. Doe’s attorneys commented on his decision to remain anonymous, stating, “Our client is so fearful of Ye and his erratic, disturbing, and unpredictable behavior that he wishes to remain anonymous for his own safety.”

The allegations against Ye continue to grow as his former employees bring forward accusations of sexual assault, harassment, and violent threats, raising questions about the behavior of one of the music industry’s most controversial figures.

Sean "Diddy" Combs’ Jail Complaint: "The Food’s Probably the Roughest Part"

Sean "Diddy" Combs’ Jail Complaint: "The Food’s Probably the Roughest Part"

Sean "Diddy" Combs’ legal team revealed that his biggest complaint about jail life isn’t the cramped conditions or looming legal battles, but rather the food at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC). Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo informed reporters, "I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it," after a pre-trial hearing for the rapper. Since his mid-September arrest, Combs has been held at the MDC, awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution. These allegations paint a grim picture of coercion, threats, and exploitation. According to federal prosecutors, Combs allegedly forced women into drug-fueled “freak-offs” that spanned multiple days. The MDC, known for its challenging conditions, serves three daily meals, which reportedly include breakfast at 6 a.m. with items like cereal and fruit. Lunch at 11 a.m. offers hamburgers, tacos, or baked fish, with weekend options of scrambled eggs and biscuits. Dinner is served at 4 p.m. and can include chicken fajitas, roast beef, or pasta, along with “heart-healthy” options such as tofu or legumes. While the jail provides commissary items, inmates are limited by available selections. Combs' legal team has expressed hope of moving him from the MDC, citing the facility’s notorious conditions. The pre-trial hearing aimed to address multiple defense claims, including what the attorneys describe as a government-led smear campaign. The defense argued that Department of Homeland Security agents leaked video footage, which CNN published in May, showing Combs allegedly assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura. In a court filing, the defense labeled these alleged leaks as “underhanded tactics,” asserting they amounted to government “misconduct.” Prosecutors were quick to reject this theory. U.S. Attorney Damian Williams dismissed it outright, and prosecutor Emily Johnson argued that the defense’s filing was an attempt to suppress critical evidence. “This is an effort to exclude a damning piece of evidence,” she stated in court. The government’s case against Combs continues to develop as investigators review more than 100 electronic devices seized from his properties. Johnson explained that the investigation is ongoing and could lead to additional charges against Combs, pending a thorough analysis of the data recovered. "Our investigation is very much ongoing," Johnson told the judge, indicating that further evidence might emerge as the prosecution combs through the extensive volume of digital material. Judge Subramanian has issued an order preventing both sides from disclosing any new evidence not already public. While the defense sought to secure bail for Combs, their request was denied. Combs is likely to remain at the MDC until his trial, which is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025. Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE?
