South Korea's buying oil from Nigeria to sell back. Democrats are throwing verbal punches in Congress over a potential government shutdown. Trump's in a $250 million fraud trial – it's Trump vs. the law.

Student loan repayments have started, filling the Treasury's coffers. A Kansas newspaper got raided while investigating the police chief. The chief got a warrant under false pretenses, but the newspaper's not backing down.
