Hey, hey, Goal Digger! Kimberly Olson here, back for another episode. And this is going to be a little bit different, so you may want to put some earmuffs on. You may not want to listen to it, you may think the exact opposite of me. But the cool thing is about having your own podcast is that you really can talk about whatever you want. I thought about going live with this topic, I almost did today, and something told me not to. And then I thought, "Ooh, it's a bit controversial". So to go on social, you put your accounts at risk, right? But on my own podcast, I can get away with a little bit more. So we're going to be talking about obviously what's going on in the world. So at any point, if you're just like not jiving, it's making you just whatever, I'm going to invite you to skip this episode and go to another one.

But for those of you that do like to really arm yourself with information, I think you should stay on and listen. But first, a listener review. So this episode, I needed to do this because I wanted to share with you how I really feel about what's going on in the world. I know a lot of you are empaths, a lot of you have struggled with mental wellness throughout all of this. I know more people have gone to drinking, or overeating, or getting more isolated, struggling with depression, anxiety. Like all this stuff going on in the world really does impact us.

So my goal for sharing this is one, I'm sure you're curious of what I think, but two is that hopefully I can give you some information that can help you to feel more comfortable with what's going on in the world so you feel that you actually have a choice. Because I think a lot of people feel like their hands are tied right now. And to an extent it's true. You know, if you think about some of the horrible things that have happened in our history where people had to report back to their homes and stay there and people were just controlled where they lived, and all of that. I have friends that can't travel outside of their country, you know? And, it's kind of crazy. So I understand how you feel.
