My next guest serves as the Senior Vice President of Trade Show Operations, Director of Technology, and part-owner of the multi-million dollar family-owned corporation Bronner Bros., Inc. The Annual Bronner Bros. Beauty Show is billed as the nation's largest trade show for multicultural beauty professionals and students. James Bronner, "Barbers and stylists, do more than cut and style our hair. They are trusted advisors, friends, and entrepreneurs— our extended family. Their shops also offer a haven and a hub for our community. During this unpredictable pandemic, they deserve our support." The core of the virtual BB Show will be education and networking between stylists and brands Multicultural barbers and stylists represent nearly 25% of all cosmetology professionals in the U.S. and contribute to the textured haircare category's estimated annual economic impact of $2.51 billion. According to a 2019 Nielsen Report, African Americans also account for nearly 86% of the total spend in the ethnic hair and beauty aids category. This year the 74th Annual Bronner Bros. Int' l Beauty Show will be hosted exclusively online. He is on the show to discuss legacy of Bronner Bros. in the beauty industry and the impact of COVID-19 on the Black beauty salon and barbershop industry.
