I Was Shocked When I Learned About This

I Was Shocked When I Learned About This

Are we being slowly poisoned? I was SHOCKED to learn about forever chemicals, also known as PFAS. Over 97% of Americans have tested positive for PFAS chemicals! In this video, I’ll tell you how to limit exposure and strengthen your body to protect you from forever chemicals.

PFAS chemicals are called forever chemicals because they stay in the environment for thousands of years. They’ve been found in our fat cells and breast milk and are especially problematic in our drinking water.

PFAS are linked to many health problems, including cancer, hormone problems, liver damage, and reproductive damage.

Forever chemicals are everywhere! They’re found in Teflon cookware, food packaging, and canned goods, and firefighters are exposed to them when they use their foam.

PFAS were first introduced into the environment in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Companies used loopholes by conducting their own studies to classify their products as GRAS (generally recognized as safe).

To avoid the toxic side effects of PFAS, you should limit your exposure and build up your body’s tolerance to these toxic chemicals.

The EWG (Environmental Working Group) evaluated 25 PFAS chemicals and found that only 3 water filters could effectively remove them from drinking water: Travel Berkey Gravity, Clearly Filtered, and Zero Water. Because the water supply exposes you to many of the forever chemicals, it’s a good idea to invest in a good water filter.

Forever chemicals build up in the body but don’t come out very easily. Here are some of the ways you can eliminate PFAS from the body and minimize their health effects:

•Sweating

•Autophagy

•Infrared light exposure

•Consuming spirulina and chlorella

Your body has detoxification enzymes that can help you eliminate poisons naturally. To help detoxify the body, consume foods with sulfur, such as eggs, garlic, and onion. Cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts are high in sulfur and other antioxidants that can help the detoxification process.

Glutamine is a vital antioxidant that can help increase glutathione in the body. Red meat is the best source, and glycine and probiotics are also essential.

It’s almost impossible to create a toxin-free environment! Trace minerals such as selenium, iodine, and copper, found in seafood and grass-fed red meat can help strengthen the biochemical pathways in your body to help eliminate forever chemicals.

Top BEST Foods to Clean Out Your Liver

Top BEST Foods to Clean Out Your Liver

In this video, we’re going to talk about the foods to eat and avoid for optimal liver health. The liver removes toxins from the body, turning them into harmless water-soluble particles. The liver can have three main problems affecting its function: a fatty liver, inflammation of the liver, and scar tissue or cirrhosis of the liver. Among many other things, the liver helps: •Turn ammonia into urea •Buffer/regulate hormones •Convert thyroid hormone T4 to T3 •Support growth hormone and IGF-1 •Activate vitamin D •Produce bile •Store glycogen •Support immune function Alcohol and excessive sugar intake negatively affect your liver function, as well as the following: 1. Soy protein isolates 2. Seed oils 3. High-fructose corn syrup 4. Refined starches 5. Glucose syrup Ultra-processed foods are very damaging to the liver. Keep your liver healthy by eating whole foods and avoiding GMO foods, heavily processed foods, and synthetic ingredients. Incorporate the following foods into your diet to support the health and function of your liver: 1. Healthy fats (olive oil, MCT oil, grass-fed butter) 2. Fatty fish (wild-caught) 3. Organic pasture-raised eggs 4. Leafy green vegetables 5. Cruciferous vegetables 6. Probiotic foods 7. Grass-fed meat There are two incredible supplements that can help reverse liver damage. Tocotrienols are a type of vitamin E that provides excellent support for your liver. Tudca is a type of bile salt that can help prevent the build-up of bile. No More Sleepless Nights: The Ultimate Cure for Waking Up to Pee at Night (Nocturia)

No More Sleepless Nights: The Ultimate Cure for Waking Up to Pee at Night (Nocturia)

In this podcast, we’re going to look at the causes of nocturia and the best natural solutions. Nocturia is the urge to urinate at night when you should be sleeping, and it can interfere with your ability to get a good night’s sleep. Nocturia is usually said to be caused by a bladder infection, a kidney infection, prostate issues, or aging. People with nocturia are not typically urinating a full bladder of urine. This means there must be an issue with the sensors in the bladder or the valve of the bladder. If there’s too much sugar in the blood, a phenomenon known as osmotic diuresis can occur. This causes excess sugar and water to be excreted, which is why diabetics and people who are obese are at an increased risk for nocturia. If you have sleep apnea, you are also at an increased risk for nocturia. Insulin resistance is the leading cause of obesity, diabetes, and sleep apnea, all of which lead to nocturia. Research has shown that insulin resistance itself can cause nocturia. The best way to address nocturia is to fix insulin resistance. To do this, stop snacking at night and work towards eliminating snacking altogether. Cut down your carb intake to less than 30 grams per day and do intermittent fasting. To speed things up, try consuming one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water before meals and exercise regularly. Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) Deficiency Signs, Symptoms, and Treatment Benefits

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) Deficiency Signs, Symptoms, and Treatment Benefits

Today, we’re going to take a look at vitamin B1, also known as thiamine. Vitamin B1 is intimately involved with the function of the mitochondria, so if you’re deficient, low energy is one of the first symptoms. The more carbs and sugar you consume, the more B1 you need. This is because vitamin B1 is necessary to burn glucose. Even on a ketogenic diet, you'll still burn glucose for certain functions of the body. Vitamin B1 is water soluble, so it isn't stored in the body for long periods. This makes it easier to become deficient. B1 is also important for the myelin sheath—the coating on your nerves. B1 is crucial for the proper function of the autonomic nervous system and specifically affects the vagus nerve. The following conditions and symptoms are related to a deficiency in vitamin B1: •Gastroparesis (slow digestive system) •GERD •Peripheral neuropathy •Regurgitation of bile •Excessive sweating or no sweating at all •Excessive tears or no tears at all •Dizziness when standing up •Irritability •Low tolerance for stress •Trouble regulating body temperature •Increased pulse rate If you have a more severe B1 deficiency, you might experience the following: •Enlarged heart •Edema •Confusion •Memory loss •Nystagmus •Ataxia •Hearing loss •Sleep apnea •Trouble breathing Avoid synthetic B1, which is sometimes made with hydrochloric acid, acetone, ammonia, and coal tar. Allithiamine and benfotiamine are the two best options for vitamin B1 supplements. Drugs can also affect the absorption of vitamin B1. Metformin, diuretics, and certain antibiotics can lead to vitamin B1 deficiency. Low magnesium can affect vitamin B1 absorption as well. Get Rid of Puffy Eyes for Good (Updated Version)

Get Rid of Puffy Eyes for Good (Updated Version)

Today, I’m going to tell you how you can easily get rid of puffy eyes. Puffy eyes are also referred to as eye bags or periorbital edema. Puffy eyes are often treated medically with steroids, antihistamines, and other medications. Cucumbers and undereye patches can provide temporary relief but do not solve the problem. High levels of sodium can cause puffy eyes, and the kidneys are often involved, but the root cause of puffy eyes is too much sugar in the bloodstream. When you have too much sugar in your bloodstream, you also have too much insulin in your bloodstream. This can eventually lead to insulin resistance and cause your body to retain sodium. After long periods of excessive sugar consumption, your kidneys can become overloaded. This often shows up in the eyelids before other parts of the body. Excessive sugar consumption causes fluid retention and sodium retention along with the following: •Decreased potassium •Activation of the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) •Increased renin If you want to get rid of puffy eyes, you need to remove the sugar from your diet. You should also increase your potassium intake. DATA: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...

THIS Is Why You Should STOP Eating Sugar - by Dr. Berg

THIS Is Why You Should STOP Eating Sugar - by Dr. Berg

In this podcast, we’re going to take a look at some of the amazing health benefits you’ll experience if you eliminate sugar from your diet for two weeks. The following side effects can occur in as little as two weeks without sugar: •Slimmer face (less round/puffy) •Less puffy eyelids •Reduced belly fat •No more carb cravings •Decreased hunger/more satisfaction after meals •Improved mood •Improved attention and focus (mental clarity) •No more fluid retention •Decreased pain and inflammation •Decreased bloating and abdominal pain •Improved sleep quality •More relaxation/decreased adrenal stress •Improved skin When avoiding sugar, you also need to avoid refined starches, which can be even worse than sugar! Refined starches go through a refining process known as hydrolysis, which breaks the starches down. This process causes a more significant effect on your blood sugar than sugar itself. For example, maltodextrin has a glycemic index between 110 and 136, while sugar and glucose have a glycemic index of 65 and 100, respectively. Maltodextrin is found in countless food products, including certain health food products. If maltodextrin is added to a food product at less than .5 grams per serving size, manufacturers can claim that the product does not contain carbohydrates. If the manufacturer uses a hydrolyzation process, they can also claim that the product contains zero grams of sugar! This means that many people are unknowingly consuming hidden sugars. While dietary sugar consumption is going down, the percentage of ultra-processed food consumption is on the rise. The good news is that there are healthy alternatives that are tasty too! Just be sure to look closely at the labels on the products you buy to avoid consuming excess sugar. DATA: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/la... https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/... Shocking Truth: Dr. Berg's 20-Year Cereal Obsession!

Shocking Truth: Dr. Berg's 20-Year Cereal Obsession!

SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER HERE: https://bit.ly/4aI2z2g Let’s talk about what would happen if you added cereal to your breakfast every morning. Years of consuming cereal can have serious impacts on your health. Cereal contains hidden sugar, starch, and carbohydrates. Certain starches and carbohydrates can affect your blood sugar levels even more than sugar can. Many people think cereal is healthy because it contains whole grains. However, sugar, combined with protein in whole grains, can lead to a myriad of health concerns. Whole grains also contain gluten, and many people have either an allergy or intolerance to it. Phytic acid in whole grains blocks mineral absorption. The synthetic vitamins in cereal are also completely different from vitamins in nature. Not to mention that the sugar in the cereal will nullify the effects of the synthetic vitamins. Many types of cereal contain ingredients that are GMO, as well as artificial colorings and preservatives. Cereal is ultra-processed junk food. Here are the top issues that can arise if you consume cereal for breakfast every day for just a month: • Prediabetes • Exhaustion • Morning grogginess • Irritability • Depression • Anxiety • Arthritis • Brain fog • Weight gain • Fatty liver

The 30-Day Sugar Detox

The 30-Day Sugar Detox

SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER HERE: https://bit.ly/3NOo9bw What will happen if you cut sugar out of your diet for thirty days? Let’s talk about it. Metabolic flexibility is a term used to describe how smoothly and efficiently your cells can adapt to utilize and burn fuel like fat, ketones, or glucose. When you’re metabolically inflexible, this transition is very dysfunctional. Your ability to burn fat in a fasting state will be very difficult. If you can’t lose weight when fasting or exercising, this could be why. Metabolic inflexibility can lead to diabetes, obesity, loss of muscle protein, and chronic illnesses. It can also cause irritability, fatigue, anxiety, and hunger. When you try to fast, you won’t feel very good, and you’ll miss out on certain benefits if you’re not metabolically flexible. Insulin resistance is at the heart of this problem. Insulin controls whether you burn fat or not. If someone is metabolically inflexible, they have insulin resistance. Insulin tells the body not to burn fat and to store fat instead. On the flip side, metabolic flexibility is really insulin sensitivity, and there are ways to make the body more metabolically flexible or insulin sensitive. When you become more metabolically flexible, you’ll be able to fast for longer without hunger or cravings, burn fat, and burn sugar more efficiently. How to transition your body into a state of metabolic flexibility and insulin sensitivity: 1. Eat less frequently 2. Eat fewer carbohydrates 3. Eat sufficient amounts of fat, but not excessive amounts of fat 4. Try exercise snacking (do short bouts of exercise throughout the day) If you do these things for thirty days, it could have a significant positive impact on improving your metabolic flexibility and your overall health. The Best Diet & Exercise for Stubborn Belly Fat

The Best Diet & Exercise for Stubborn Belly Fat

SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER HERE: https://bit.ly/3H7eFo6 Today, I’m going to cover the best ways to get rid of belly fat, central fat, or mid-section fat. Belly fat or visceral fat is fat that is outside of the fat cells—it’s in the organs, especially the liver. If you have belly fat, you have a fatty liver. Insulin resistance is what leads to fat on the liver to begin with. Insulin is a fat-storing hormone, and it prevents weight loss. Cortisol is another hormone that can make it difficult to lose weight. How to get rid of stubborn belly fat fast: 1. Reduce stress and support sleep by doing aerobic exercise (long walks or physical work). Burn fat by doing high-intensity interval training without overtraining (two to three times a week). 2. Get your body into ketosis. Reduce the amount of carbohydrates and sugar in your diet. 3. Don’t consume excess dietary fat, but don’t go on a low-fat diet either. Don’t consume less than 75 grams of fat per day. 4. Support your liver. Consume apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar mixed into 12 oz. of water). Take milk thistle and berberine. 5. Do OMAD (one meal a day). Intermittent fasting is the most important thing for fast weight loss and to support a healthy body. Consume red meat several times a week when you do consume meals. 6. Stay aware of what works and what doesn’t. Evaluate your environment, create healthy habits, and stay consistent.
