In this enlightening and hopeful episode, we sit down with John and Karen Rellos to explore impacts of intimacy deprivation and attachment wounds on couples. They share valuable experiences and insights into how these issues affect relationships and offer practical strategies for healing and rebuilding trust. Karen is an APSATS Certified Partner Coach, Intimacy Avoidance Coach, and Certified Bravehearts Mentor. She’s been a group facilitator for Live Free Wives ministry for the past 9 years. She is ERCEM Trained and a Level 1 & 2 IACCR with Dr. Jake Porter. She has completed many other trainings including Omar Minwalla’s Integrity abuse, polyvagal theory, internal family systems, attachment, and somatic practices. Her husband John is a certified Bravehearts mentor and has worked with men in recovery for the past 9 years. Healing Hearts Self-paced Course: A 15-week course for couples healing from betrayal, emphasizing empathy, integrity, and authentic intimacy while providing practical tools for relational growth. Each partner takes the self-paced course separately, with weekly lessons, journaling, and note-taking sections.
