262 - Profit Play: Using a Joint Venture Partner for £200k+ Profit

This month, we are rejoined by Jay Chauhan, an experienced investor who joined Property Entrepreneur over 10 years ago.

Jay previously featured on Episode 133, where we discussed his Back to Back Leasing model which he successfully uses for cashflow, one of the strategies taught on Property Entrepreneur.

There are 3 levels within the Property Entrepreneur Wealth Hierarchy: Cashflow, Profit and Assets. In this episode, we discuss a profit play which is great for generating lumps of cash for profit which can then be used to grow the assets.

Jay discusses how he sourced this property in London, how he funded the purchase and the exit options he had. He partnered with another investor who provided the cash equity on top of the lending meaning Jay didn't have any of his funds in the deal.

Purchase Price: £925,000

Costs: £60,000

Sale Price: £1.2m

Gross Profit: £215,000
