111: 5 Mistakes You're Making in Your Anxiety Recovery Journey

There are often lots of mistakes that we unknowingly make along our anxiety recovery journeys! I know I made MANY mistakes throughout my journey, which is why it was so hard to shorten this list to just five.

The mistakes I’m sharing with you in this episode are the ones I often see with my clients, students, and myself! And they’re also the ones that can keep you stuck and struggling, which is why I want to shed some light on these things and help you to keep moving forward on your recovery journey.

We’ll talk about things like…

  • Trying to become an expert on anxiety
  • Why exposure therapy isn't everything
  • How analyzing the ‘why’ of anxiety and panic attacks keeps you stuck
  • Why there’s no such thing as healing perfectly

...And lots more! This might come as a bit of a shocker, but you can make every mistake on this list and still recover from anxiety, panic disorder, and agoraphobia!

Make sure to listen to the full episode for all of the goodness and stay tuned until the end of the episode for a bonus mistake!
