He also thinks that the interactions and collaborations between team members are essential and cannot be fully automated. Todd agrees and states that tools cannot replace the experience, intuition, EQ, and all that human scrum masters possess. They suggest that these tools can be used as assistive technology, but they cannot replace the role of a scrum master. They also give an analogy of a grand master chess player using an engine to calculate moves but still requiring human understanding and decision-making abilities.
