IFS and Healing Parts with Psychodrama with Valerie Simon

IFS and Healing Parts with Psychodrama with Valerie Simon

On today's episode I chat with Altogether Us author Valerie Simon.

Valerie Simon is a Certified IFS Therapist, a Trainer, Educator and Practitioner of psychodrama, and a Certified Experiential Therapist. She is the Founder and Director of The Inner Stage®, a group private practice in NYC where she works with adults recovering from trauma, and she specializes in working with performers and other public figures. Valerie also runs groups and intensives, and supervises and trains other practitioners in her hybrid method of IFS and psychodrama called Play Your Parts. We discuss: - what is psychodrama? - what are externalizations? - psychodrama in a group setting - parallels and differences between IFS and psychodrama - healing power of integrating both modalities - unburdening, 'the redo' and connecting to Self using externalizations - Play Your Parts and The Inner Stage
