Earlier to Carro, Perry's last company Gaikai was acquired by Sony PlayStation to take the lead in cloud-based video game streaming in the future that is called PlayStation Now. Prior to that, he was the Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Acclaim Entertainment, helping introduce "free-to-play" gaming to the Western markets. Disney acquired Acclaim. He also created the video game production studio Shiny Entertainment, which was later bought by Interplay for the rights to the Earthworm Jim, and Atari for Matrix game franchises, respectively.

David is passionate in making video games and building technology. He always thinking about the future of video game industry that everything he makes in his life is digital.
