On Friday’s Mark Levin Show, WMAL’s Larry O’Connor fills in for Mark.  Today was the first day of the 119th Congress and Mike Johnson was reelected as Speaker of the House after a dramatic first-round vote.  3 Republicans didn’t vote for Johnson, and it seemed like the vote would go to a second round. But then President Donald Trump got involved and Johnson eventually won it on the first ballot, which most predictions said wouldn’t happen. Also, Rep Hakeem Jeffries lost the Speaker race for the 20th time in just 2 years. Jeffries spoke before he handed the gavel to Johnson, and it sounded like he was about to introduce President Trump at a rally. He complained that costs were too high and that America is too expensive. Jeffries is right – but who was President and Vice President the last four years? Jeffries said he wants to help fix the problems in America, but he has to work with Trump if he wants to get things done. Why would the Democrats want to work with someone they called Hitler and a fascist? Finally, Jake Tapper isn’t a serious newsman, he’s no better than a propagandist. One of his reports on the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal is the center of a $1 Billion defamation lawsuit against CNN and Tapper. That goes to trial next week. Learn more about your ad choices. On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, Ben Ferguson, host of the Ben Ferguson podcast, fills in for Mark. FBI Special Agent Alethea Duncan was the first person America heard from after the horrific New Orleans attack and she told everyone that this wasn’t “a terrorist event.”  She deserves to be fired. Now, the FBI is saying this was 100% inspired by ISIS and yes, it’s a terrorist act. How could the FBI get this so wrong in the beginning? The other person who should be fired is whoever made the decision to have the hydraulic barriers around Bourbon Street removed for repairs. Of all the days of the year, New Year's Eve, someone decided that those weren’t needed, but now those barriers are up.  Also, the Washington Post actually had this headline published - truck rams New Orleans crowd. Do they want us to believe a random truck drove itself into a crowd with no one inside? Later, Pro-Hamas protestors celebrated in NYC after the New Orleans attack. On Wednesday’s Mark Levin Show, we bring you the Best of Mark Levin. The government was shut down over 20 times since 1974 and the nation survived. A shutdown does draw a line on what they call "discretionary spending" -- the government itself calls it non-essential spending -- much of which, but not all, funds ideologically driven projects. The government never really shuts down; indeed, when there is a so-called government shutdown, about 17% of the government actually shuts down.  Afterward, is George Mason University cultivating a nest of anti-Israel and antisemitic terrorist supporters? A student was arrested for “distribution of information relating to explosives, destructive devices, and weapons of mass destruction in furtherance of the commission of a federal crime of violence” to an FBI informant. Finally, Benjamin Netanyahu will not be able to attend the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp fearing he may be arrested by the Poland government for ‘war crimes.’ This is outrageous. On Monday’s Mark Levin Show, WMAL's Larry O’Connor fills in for Mark to discuss the passing of President Jimmy Carter and how he was able to pass without having the worst president in history title, thanks to President Joe Biden. The radical left honored Carter’s passing which is no surprise due to his support for D.E.I. and the lack of support towards Israel during his presidency. Carter was a decent human being when it came to his family, friends, and staff, but that does not change how radical he was as a President. In addition, the fact that President Donald Trump won the presidency shows how much the people want change from the Democratic agenda. Trump defeated the left-wing media and now they are back peddling as hard as ever. On Friday’s Mark Levin Show, Rich Valdes, host of America At Night, fills in for Mark. New York City has not changed when it comes to the increase of illegal aliens committing severe crimes, making any part of NYC unsafe. The fact that an illegal alien burned a woman to death while raiding the subway train is out of control. The scariest thing is that Mayor Eric Adams and Gov. Kathy Hochul seem to do nothing about this and now are trying to back pedal on making NYC a sanctuary city. Border Czar Tom Homan expresses his frustration towards those who are against ICE and are against making illegal criminals accountable for the crimes they commit, let alone be in our country Illegally. In addition, President Biden and Kamala Harris have destroyed this country and then you have people like Julian Castro claiming that it is inhumane and immoral to deport illegal aliens. Also, the healthcare industry is coming up with more ways to cheat the responsibility we have to make sure we are healthy mentally and physically active. Instead, the left pushes for more pharma and offer Ozempic or Mounjaro instead of providing healthier options that encourages you to decide for your health not drugs like RFK suggests. This is another plan for the left and big Pharma to keep the American people in a cycle that makes them pay for drugs, making them depend on the government and pharma. On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, Brian Mudd fills in for Mark. Speaker Mike Johnson has a plan to fix things in the House. President-Elect Donald Trump is working very closely with his team and with Johnson to ensure that the plan goes accordingly. In addition, Sanctuary cities are still a big issue considering that crime does not seem to go down. Crime is so bad regarding illegal aliens that we see it on a daily basis, look at the women who recent got burned alive by an illegal alien. MSNBC’s Joy Reid and ABC’s Ana Navarro continue to compare Trump to Hitler. This is offensive to Jewish people and a grotesque act of blasphemy against Trump. Reid and Navarro are feeding the antisemitism that is spreading. Why do their corporations, Comcast and Disney, tolerate this? They need to be fired! Also, the country is being inundated with drones. These drones are mapping, and the government is concealing information. Most likely these are drones from China. Iran and Russia are too busy right now to do this. This is a massive coverup. Later, Sen Mitch McConnell and Rep Nancy Pelosi both fell injuring themselves. These people are too old to be representing us, they can’t do the job effectively. There must be term limits because they love holding on to power. Afterward, Secretary of State Antony Blinken is a traitor - he subsidized many terrorist entities in the Middle East through his policies. He treats Turkey’s mass murderer Erdogan with more respect than Benjamin Netanyahu. Finally, Antony Blinken was testifying and said that no one was left behind in Afghanistan. We all know that’s not true. Thanks to Benjamin Netanyahu, not President Biden and Blinken, the mass murderer in Syria ran off to Moscow. Netanyahu has saved more lives than Biden could dream of.
