The slaying of four college students is taking more twists and turns. Cops have reversed an earlier advisory that citizens needn't be worried for their safety...they also say two other roommates were home during the slayings, and they're searching local hunting shops for a particular kind of knife. And with the killer still at large and so much mystery surrounding the case...it's no surprise citizen sleuths are hard at work trying to solve the crime. Steven Fabian has more on that. Plus, It’s been more than a half a century since a White House family wedding was held at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. This weekend the granddaughter of President Biden will say her “I do's” on the South Lawn. And the holiday travel season is upon us and some female fliers have had it with certain guys invading their personal space. Ann Mercogliano explains. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It's been more than three days since four University of Idaho students were found murdered and police are telling students and residents they should not be concerned for their own safety. But that’s hardly reassuring for the rattled community...or the victims' families who vow to find the assailant. And there’s lots of reaction to former President Trump's announcement he's running again for the White House, and observers note that Ivanka Trump was not at the event. The former first daughter was a key advisor during her dad's time in the White House, she now says she's done with politics. Plus, it's the latest explosive allegation to come from the first interview given by Casey Anthony since she her acquittal 11 years ago in her daughter Caylee's death. She's blaming her dad for the death of her daughter. George Anthony told us that he was “in contact with an attorney. That’s all I can say at this moment.” He has previously denied having anything to do with Caylee's death. And Taylor Swift fans got a second shot today at buying tickets for her upcoming tour after Ticketmaster’s website crashed from the unprecedented demand. Will the second time be the charm? Ann Mercogliano decided to try getting through to buy tickets. What do you do when most of the candidates you back don’t win? If you're Donald Trump you declare you’re running for president. Against all advice from political experts, the former president is set to announce a third attempt to win the White House. As yet another of his political endorsements goes down to defeat. There are plenty of questions and very few answers after four students at the University of Idaho were found murdered in their off-campus house. Authorities say it was not a murder suicide…and they're calling it a “crime of passion.” Plus, it was a heart wrenching day in court as victims of the Waukesha parade massacre gave victim impact statements. What was said was so moving…even the judge was brought to tears. And Jay Leno remains in a California burn unit, and we're learning the injuries he suffered in a mishap at his California garage are more serious than first thought.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Horror at the University of Virginia after a suspected student gunman opened fire killing three members of the football team. During a twelve hour manhunt, students sheltered in place...then in a dramatic moment, right in the middle of a press briefing, came word the suspect was in custody. And it was a major scare for Jay Leno after flames reportedly shot out of an exhaust pipe on one of his cars sending him to a hospital burn unit. Word is the former late night star suffered serious burns on his face. Plus, ever since the terror attack of 9/11, TSA checkpoints have gotten a lot stricter. So how on earth did a box cutter get through security? Authorities say the passenger who carried it became unruly…and as Steven Fabian reports, it was other passengers who stepped up to help. And some sad news from Jennifer Aniston as she mourns the death of her father. Rescued by mermaids! It sounds like something out of a Hans Christian Andersen story, but this really happened. As Jim Moret tells us, a group of women in mermaid tails and sea shell bras just helped some divers in distress! And if there were any doubt over how threatened former President Donald Trump feels after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's solid win on election night, as Steven Fabian reports, Trump's latest wave of social media posts makes it clear. Plus, just like the rest of us, Michelle Obama's getting older. Now as she returns to public view with her latest book, she's talking about something new she's dealing with - menopause. And she’s a mom who threw a birthday party for her five-year-old son...but the venue was Hooters. And the haters came out of the woodwork! Now the mom under fire is talking with Ann Mercogliano. Has the political reign of Donald Trump come to an end? It’s a fair question, since the once unwavering support of conservative media outlets appears to have vanished. Les Trent explains. And Hurricane Nicole made landfall well north of Mar-a-Lago, Trump's home in Palm Beach. However, it’s still impacting Tiffany Trump's wedding there this weekend. Plus, it’s been 11 years since Casey Anthony was acquitted in the murder of her little girl Caylee. Now she is speaking out in a new docuseries and the director says Anthony had no control over how she was portrayed. And It was a water damaged laptop left, and apparently forgotten, at a repair shop. And when the repair guy saw what was on it - he says he became concerned - and not just because of the dirty pictures he saw. The laptop belonged to Hunter Biden. Now the man who turned it over to the FBI tells Steven Fabian why. The ballots are still being counted in some states but there has already been a loser declared in the midterm election: the pundits say it's Donald Trump. With a few exceptions, most of the major candidates he embraced lost. And many political commentators say Trumps appearance on the campaign trail may actually have helped the Democrats. And the bloodbath in tech continues with Facebook, or Meta as its now called, announcing they’re firing more than 11-thousand employees. That's about 13% of their workforce. And some of those axed workers are taking to social media to share their heartbreak. Plus, Powerball officials say the winner of that record $2 billion dollar jackpot has not yet come forward. But that hasn't stopped our Jim Moret from trying to find out who it is. And a security scare for King Charles and wife Camilla today as they were pelted with eggs during a public appearance. It comes as the hit Netflix series, “The Crown” releases its fifth season - which recreates princess Diana's headline making "revenge dress" to a T. It's being called the most consequential midterm election in years, and it may be days before we know all the results. The outcome will determine which party controls the House and Senate as well as power in some state legislatures and governors’ races. Steven Fabian has our election day coverage. And it's true! Millions of Americans were hoping to hit it big overnight as the Powerball jackpot grew to more than $2 billion dollars, but there was a glitch in the lottery software which delayed the drawing until early this morning. And guess what - as Jim Moret reports, one single person just got a lot richer! Plus, now a reminder of just how scary the RSV respiratory virus can be. The parents of a stricken baby girl had to call police after the child stopped breathing. Thankfully, the cops knew just what to do. And for the first time we're hearing the 911 call placed after singer, Aaron Carter, was found unresponsive in his bathtub. The operator does his best to keep the distraught caller calm as he tries to get help to the scene.
