Police today released body cam of the moment they arrested the man they say planned to assassinate former President Trump while he was golfing. Today the question is being asked - how did the suspected gunman get that close to the former president just two months after another failed assassination plot?  Steven Fabian is in Palm Beach with the latest. And the suspect is by no means a stranger to law enforcement. He has a long rap sheet with scores of arrests. He was also passionate about the war in Ukraine - traveling there to help recruit others into the conflict. Authorities are now piecing together his movements to figure out what led to Sunday's arrest. Plus, Donald Trump is leaving no doubt about how he feels about Taylor Swift. This weekend he bluntly posted four words quote “I hate Taylor Swift.” However, the response from Swifties may be more than he expected. And the big winner of the night was Shogun which set a new Emmy record with a total of 18 wins, including best drama and lead actor and actress.    To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Justin Timberlake was mobbed today as he made his way into court to plead guilty to an impaired driving charge. It's a reduced charge after he was cited for DWI during a traffic stop last June. After leaving court he delivered a public safety message, as ordered by the judge. And does Donald Trump really think they're eating cats and dogs in Springfield, Ohio? Despite it being debunked and made the butt of endless memes and jokes, the former president is doubling down. Plus, Miami Dolphins star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is undergoing more tests today after suffering his third concussion since joining the league last night. As Les Trent reports, there’s a debate raging over whether or not he should be allowed to return to the field.  And recently we told you about a suspected thief stealing money from a jar at a kid's lemonade stand. This boy had his entire lemonade stand ripped off, and it was all caught on tape. Alison Hall spoke with the 11-year-old victim. When Taylor Swift told her fans she'd be voting for Kamala Harris, more than 10 million people on Instagram liked her post. And hundreds of thousands clicked on her link to a voter registration website. Ann Mercogliano has a look at the possible impact the pop star could have on the presidential election. And summer may be wrapping up but it’s still hot outside and this mom freaked out when her Tesla unexpectedly locked her out, with her 13-month-old baby trapped inside! The temperature was over 100 degrees. Les Trent tells us what happened. Plus, add lifesaver to the list of accomplishments of singer Jon Bon Jovi. As he was shooting a music video in Nashville, a troubled woman appeared ready to jump from the bridge where he was filming.  True to one of his song lyrics, he gave her his hand. And she took it. And a couple who were SCUBA diving got separated from their dive boat when inclement weather rolled through. They ended up treading water for 40 hours before they were rescued. Now only Inside Edition is there as they return to the place where they came close to losing their lives. The first and likely only debate - between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is history, and it started with an awkward but very deliberate handshake. And today they were shaking hands again, as Les Trent reports, this time as they attended the 9/11 remembrance ceremony at Ground Zero. And one of the more bizarre moments of the debate came when the former president said quote "they're eating cats and dogs" - a reference to a much-debunked myth about illegal migrants in Springfield, Ohio. It didn't happen, but how did such an outlandish tale get started? Plus, the mother of the teen accused of killing two students and two teachers at his Georgia school is speaking up for her son, saying he's not a monster. However, as Steven Fabian reports, she's also apologizing for what happened. And it’s the childhood toy that's the focus of a very grown up contest. The very first hobby horse championship in America is taking place, and as Alison Hall reports, the competition is fierce. A new poll shows 7 in 10 Americans plan to watch tonight's presidential debate and 30% say it will help them decide how they're going to vote. The stakes truly couldn't be higher for Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, they will be face-to-face. Or more accurately, fingertip to fingertip - the podiums are that close! And you may recall the two Spirit Airline gate agents who freaked out and started screaming at frustrated passengers who's flights had been delayed. The agents were fired, and now they're breaking their silence in an exclusive national TV interview with our Jim Moret. Plus, everyone knows what sank the Titanic…and when a ship hit a much smaller iceberg in Alaska - you couldn't blame passengers for thinking of that other boat. And he had run in lots of marathons and was a big Disney fan - so when Disneyland announced a half marathon he was eager to go, despite temperatures being over 100. Then just as he was approaching the finish line – tragedy as he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest. Ironically, just the day before the race, he posted a video about the California heat.    To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It was the vacation that changed one woman's life forever. She was swimming in the Florida Gulf when she was attacked by a shark, losing her hand and nearly losing her life. However, this is a story of gratitude for little miracles that enabled the mother of three to live - the nurses who just happened to be on the beach, and the first responders who came to her rescue. Steven Fabian has our exclusive interview. And it was a near disaster at a lobster roll eating contest when one of the contestants started choking. The good Samaritan who saved the day performing the Heimlich wasn't just anyone, it was the governor! Plus, a star player for the Miami Dolphins says he's still trying to figure out what happened just before the team's home opener yesterday. While on his way to Dolphins stadium he was pulled over and put in handcuffs. However, he did manage to get to the game on time, and it looked like he was mocking what happened after scoring a touchdown. And in roughly 24 hours, all eyes will be on what may be the only Presidential Debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. The two have never met, and before they take the stage there's already a bit of a height war - at least from the former president.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. We're learning that the 14-year-old accused of killing four people inside his Georgia high school was interviewed by the FBI last year in connection with alleged threats of a school shooting.  Meantime, a mom is speaking with Les Trent about texts her son sent her while the shots were being fired.  And it is an unthinkable medical mistake. A man went in for a spleen operation, and died after surgery. His family says it's because the surgeon removed his liver instead. Plus, you've heard the term needle in a haystack...well finding a three-year-old lost in a massive corn field is just as challenging. And the NFL season gets underway today with the reigning Super Bowl champs - the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Baltimore Ravens. Taylor Swift will be there, and she's being credited with increasing the league's female fandom. As Ann Mercogliano reports, she's also boosting the number of ladies taking part in fantasy football.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
