Super Bowl 59 is in the history books with the Eagles winning their second Vince Lombardi Trophy in what, for a while, was a total blowout. Among the more than 76,000 in the stadium was President Trump, who became the only sitting president to attend a Super Bowl. And among the many celebrities was Taylor Swift who publicly endorsed Kamala Harris for president. And Kendrick Lamar did the halftime show... the first time a solo rapper has headlined, and it's sparked plenty of commentary. But one moment no one saw coming was when tennis great Serena Williams popped up as a dancer. Plus, Philadelphia fans spilled into the streets celebrating the Eagles win and since this is only their second Super Bowl win, things got a little wild. And the egg shortage continues in parts of the country and some people are getting desperate. Surveillance cam captured thieves stealing more than 500 eggs from a restaurant in Seattle. Did he get away with murder? That's the question being asked about a 17-year-old after he was acquitted in the murder of his mother. That court decision came after he'd already killed his father, police say, in self-defense. And every year before the Super Bowl the NFL holds an award show and former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who's 72, showed up with his 24-year-old girlfriend who had a Super Bowl ring on her finger. Is she engaged? Or did Belichick just run out of fingers? Plus, he's on tap to become the President's point man on health matters in the U.S., so when RFK Jr. mixes something into his drink, people pay attention. And plenty of folks are wondering what was in the little bottle he uncorked during a flight. And Sunday's Super Bowl comes less than six weeks after 14 people were killed in New Orleans when a pickup truck drove into the New Year’s Eve crowd. Though most of New Orleans is celebrating the Super Bowl, for the victims’ families -- that's hard to do. There is some good news on the health front... more than half of the country has seen a decrease in cases of Covid - but there's a new worry to take its place: The Flu.  And back-to-back winter storms have as much as a third of the United States in a deep freeze, with ice and freezing rain making both roads and sidewalks especially treacherous. Plus, President Trump will be among the thousands at the Superdome on Sunday - as the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl. And it seems he may have a favorite when it comes to the teams. A mother of a toddler and her boyfriend are facing child neglect charges after her little one was spotted alone in a car in the parking lot of a bar. The mom says she was trying to get her boyfriend to leave, but cops say the child was alone for as much as two hours. The mother and her boyfriend have pled not guilty. Lots of tears on Kelly Ripa's show today as she shared news that her beloved dog that appeared regularly on her show has passed away. Ripa says for the last 17 years the Shih Tzu named Chewie was an amazing companion to her family and losing her has been beyond tough. And President Trump's comments that he wants to take over war torn Gaza and turn it into the “Riviera of the Middle East” caused lots of mouths to drop around the world. Many thought he had to be joking, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Plus, with news Donald Trump will be the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, security is being beefed up to a whole new level. More than 2,000 federal agents are working alongside the New Orleans Police Department. And egg prices skyrocketed to as much as 19 dollars a dozen due to bird flu wiping out millions of chickens. Now comes this...thieves stealing 100,000 eggs being transported to grocery stores. The stolen eggs are worth 40,000 dollars. Last night in New Orleans, members of both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles met the press for the traditional Q & A - and one question for Travis Kelce stood out. Might he be considering a half time show of his own? He was asked if he was planning to propose at halftime to Taylor Swift. And there's still talk from Sunday’s big event - the Grammys. Kanye West's red carpet stunt got plenty of attention, with his wife revealing her basically nude body in a sheer dress. The talk is this: Is she ok? Plus, officials in Miami Beach are sending a message loud and clear to spring breakers - you are still not welcome here. They want college kids to know that Miami Beach will have curfews, DUI enforcement and a heavy police presence. Will it make a difference? And President Trump's pick for health secretary cleared an important hurdle today. A senate committee has voted to send Bobby Kennedy Jr's nomination to the full chamber. It was a history making night at the Grammy's last night with Beyonce not only now the holder of more Grammy awards than anyone ever, she also 'finally' won album of the year - along with becoming the first black woman to win a Grammy for country album of the year. And last week was a terrible week for aviation. First was the deadly crash outside Reagan National Airport in D.C. - followed by the crash of the medical jet in Philly Friday night and just yesterday passengers in Houston had to make an emergency exit after the wing caught fire. It's no surprise some Americans are jittery about flying. Plus, lawyers for players in one of the ugliest Hollywood disputes in recent memory faced off in a New York City courtroom today with the first hearing in the It Ends with Us  dueling lawsuits between' stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Over the weekend, Baldoni launched a website of texts and emails 'he' says supports his defamation case and her team is trying to pull the plug on it. Overcrowded and understaffed-- that's what critics say has been the state of affairs at Washington’s Reagan National Airport -- and Wednesday night it turned deadly. But in the wake of the tragic crash between an army chopper and that American Airlines jet, we've learned of a number of near misses between helicopters and planes. And for family members of those lost, the grief is only beginning to set in. And among the losses are two 11-year-olds who became best friends doing what they loved most - competing in skating events. Plus, Health Secretary nominee RFK Jr. makes no bones about the fact that he was a heroin addict for 14 years. But questions are being raised about some small pouches he was popping in his mouth during his confirmation hearing. And gold medal Olympic track star Gabby Thomas is afraid she's being stalked. Thomas says a group of strange men has been following her when she travels, showing up at airports all over the country. And it turns out she's not the only star athlete saying she's being targeted. Recovery teams have spent the day in the frigid waters outside Reagan National Airport, engaged in the grim activity of retrieving the 67 victims of last night's deadly collision between an army Blackhawk helicopter and an American Airlines plane. Among the victims, figure skaters returning from a training camp in Kansas. And according to The New York Times, a preliminary investigation into the crash shows the air traffic control tower was understaffed. The report says the controller handling helicopters was also directing commercial planes, jobs usually assigned to two separate people. Plus, the Blackhawk helicopter involved in the crash is known as the workhorse of the military. Powered by two turbine engines, it can climb 19-thousand feet and lift more than nine thousand pounds.
