As Donald Trump gets another rousing reception at the RNC, we're learning more about the assassination attempt. When the former president arrived at the local emergency room just minutes after the shooting, other patients in the ER were stunned to see the hospital's high-profile patient come through the doors. And the secret service has been under attack for its failures in the wake of Saturday’s assassination attempt, and coming under special fire have been female members of the former president's security team. That’s sparked an uproar of its own. Plus, it was a race against time to save a girl who was buried when sand around her collapsed. The sand keeps falling and the tide is rising. As Jim Moret reports, it was all hands on to try to save her before it was too late. And she was enjoying the great outdoors at a national park...then a grizzly showed up! Steven Fabian has a moment-by-moment analysis of what happened. More video from the day George Floyd was killed has emerged. A former star of Saturday Night Live says what happened to George Floyd happened to him…but he lived to talk about it. And a lot of adrenaline with a big dose of selflessness helped a group of neighbors rescue a family that was trapped when their SUV flipped over.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Inside Edition reports…There’s an extraordinary situation in Seattle where the turmoil and calls for racial justice happening across the nation has led to the takeover of a portion of the city. As the standoff continues, now there’s a war of words between the president and local officials. Tough questions are being asked in the case of the two missing children whose remains have just been found. Marine biologists say with humans out of the water recently, sharks have been swimming closer to shore. That means as beaches begin to reopen, be careful if you’re planning to go into the water. And a man who went on a meditation retreat missed the Covid-19 pandemic and had no idea about the George Floyd uproar.
