The frenzy over the apparent drones over New Jersey and elsewhere was unabated over the weekend. Officially the government says it doesn’t know where they're from, but Rosie O’Donnell says she does. She took to social media saying "they're here". To O’Donnell, it’s clear these aren't really drones but aliens from outer space, but is she serious? And the man accused of murdering the CEO of United Healthcare has a new attorney. And before she was retained, she was on tv talking about a possible insanity defense. This comes as President-elect Donald Trump speaks out about the shooting. Plus, the woman who alleges that Jay-Z sexually assaulted her more than twenty years ago when she was 13 is speaking out, admitting there are inconsistencies in her story. And Jay-Z has come out swinging vehemently denying the allegations, filing to dismiss the lawsuit and calling the woman's attorney a '1-800 lawyer.' And last week, President Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 1,500 criminals, and one in particular is sparking outrage today - a now-former judge who accepted $2.8 million for jailing 2,300 children - some as young as eight. Now one of the outraged moms is speaking out. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. All that social distancing we've done for the past two and a half years may have kept us healthy during the worst of the pandemic, but doctors are warning about tough times ahead. It's being called a triple whammy: as a respiratory ailment strikes, especially in children, at the same time flu and covid numbers are on the rise. Ann Mercogliano has more. And it’s a warning for experienced hikers from an experienced hiker. A woman enjoying the great outdoors in Texas came upon a herd of bison. She waited for them to clear the trail…but then one of the bison decided to clear the trail…of her! She spoke with Les Trent. Plus, Swifties are rejoicing today because last night Taylor Swift dropped her new album. First there was a teaser on Thursday Night Football, then the album, midnights, appropriately came out at midnight. The rush to hear it was so big, it crashed Spotify. And for more than a decade the family of Brittanee Drexel has wondered what ever happened to her. She disappeared while walking to a motel during spring break in Myrtle Beach, never to be seen again. Now her remains have been found and her killer sentenced; a crime that was solved…because he confessed.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It's a reminder that actions have consequences. Criminal charges have been lodged against those daycare workers who terrified young children by confronting them wearing a Scream mask. First they lost they jobs…now as Steven Fabian reports, they're facing some serious charges. And Halloween isn't until a week from Monday, but some people are already busy with trick or treat. Mostly the trick part, as there's been a rash of thefts of Halloween decorations. One brazen thief tried to snatch a much sought after 12 foot skeleton - but will it fit in the getaway car? Plus, Meghan Markle's comments about being made to feel like a bimbo on Deal or No Deal are getting a mixed reaction today. One of her fellow briefcase models has now come forward to say she was treated just fine. And “They should not be here right now.” That's the word from one of the first responders who helped rescue more than two dozen people…including a group of Boy Scouts trapped by suddenly rising water while camping. A new wrinkle in the case of the Only Fans model accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend. Just two days before the incident, police were called to the woman's apartment...during which she asked cops to help her get a restraining order. As Les Trent reports, her lawyers say the police bodycam video bolsters her self-defense plea. And Kathie Lee admits she hasn't read Kelly Ripa's new book. Ripa is responding by thanking Kathie Lee Gifford for the publicity. Plus, he may be the most famous bird on Tik Tok…now Emanuel the emu is sick. Based on the posts, Ann Mercogliano says fans are worried its owner is at risk too. And we know inflation is still soaring - but would you believe some people are paying $119 for two crab legs? Why the huge hike? As Steven Fabian tells us, they're in short supply thanks to overfishing and climate change.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Flu season has started early this year. Typically the flu takes hold in December, but the CDC says health officials around the country are seeing a pretty steep rise in cases. Major outbreaks are already being seen prompting the reminder: If you haven't gotten a flu shot yet, get it scheduled. And Megan Markle's just released another podcast in which she talks about leaving the show where she got her first big break. She says she was treated like a bimbo. It's official - the Netflix series The Watcher has knocked Jeffrey Dahmer out of the number one spot. It's based on a true story of a family tormented by a stalker after moving into their dream house. We spoke with another one of the former owners about what it’s like to live in The Watcher house. And we all know jeans can be expensive…but we're pretty sure you've never paid $87 grand for a pair.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. When you travel on Delta with a dog, the rules are clear, the pooch has to stay in its carrier. However, after one passenger was told to put her dog back in its case, she made such a scene she was thrown off the plane! Why would anyone act like that? She’s about to tell you. And when the bride's an emergency room nurse…you can bet some of the guests at her wedding will also be medical professionals. That turned out to be a very good thing when one of the guests had an apparent heart attack. Plus, Under Georgia law, it’s a crime to impersonate a police officer. So when Herschel Walker flashed a badge at a senate debate, was he breaking the law - or is he in the clear? And she's a golfer known as much for her looks as her game. And there was a big misunderstanding on Broadway when the star of the show mistook an audience member's captioning device for a recording device. It’s been more than 4 years since Nicolas Cruz entered the high school in Parkland, Florida and murdered 17 people. Today the victims’ families and survivors packed into court to hear the jury’s recommended penalty. They had been hoping for the death penalty. Now, many are disgusted he'll be spending the rest of his life in prison. And it is a staggeringly large judgement against conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, but will the families of the Sandy Hook shooting victims ever see any of the nearly billion dollars in damages? The woman who was once married to Jones says she hopes they see "every cent." She spoke exclusively with Les Trent. Plus, another case of air rage, this one involving a woman who was kicked off a Delta flight after refusing to put her dog in a carry case. Even the passengers had had enough, yelling for her to get off the plane. And the woman who conned people into believing she was a wealthy heiress is out of jail and fighting to stay in the country. After 18 months behind bars and being the subject of a Netflix series, Anna Sorokin tells Steven Fabian she deserves a second chance. It was tragic end for a promising young singer who came in second last year on American Idol. 23-year-old Willie Spence was killed in a car crash. However, his final posting on Instagram may bring some comfort to those grieving his death. And a little girl could have died…and maybe it’s a miracle she didn't. A man has been charged with child neglect after he returned his rental car at the airport. Cops say he left his toddler granddaughter in the back seat for 45 minutes in the hot sun…until she was rescued. Plus, in the GOP's bid to flip the senate, there are several high stakes races…including the race in Pennsylvania, where TV's Dr. Oz is challenging that state's Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman. As you may know, Fetterman suffered a stroke just days before winning the primary last May, and he's using special technology to help him deal with some cognitive challenges. And he's the man accused of driving his car through a holiday parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin…killing 6 and injuring scores more. Now Darrell Brooks is on trial, acting as his own attorney, which Steven Fabian reports has caused anxiety for victims…and at times, frustration for the judge. Brooks initially entered an insanity plea but then changed that to not guilty.
